The litter all over this place is disgusting. Everywhere you look! There are no bins anywhere apart from on the car park. It has such good potential. It's just a shame it's treated the way it is.

Great place for a short stroll 1-2hrs. Good wide paths but do get a bit wet in places during winter but generally trainers are ok. Would be suitable for wheel chairs but not certain how easy the gates are to navigate or if the larger gates are accessible to public. Parking by the saltwells inn.

Excellent place to walk dogs. Very well kept nature reserve. The rangers do a great job of looking after the place and the abundance of wildlife.

Lovely walk. Lots of paths to follow and retrace to make a lovely long walk. Lots of friendly people walking too! Will visit again.

An interesting and visually pleasant place to go for a walk. The coal seams which are visible is well worth a view. Only trouble is - step one foot off the beaten track and you will find dog poo - not pleasant. The place is littered with it. Apart from keeping dogs on a lead I am not sure what can be done about this.
