Warmley Wheelers

About

Warmley Wheelers is a cycle scheme that gives everyone the chance to get into cycling, regardless of experience.

Story

Imagine the breeze in your face, a thrilling sense of freedom, the great outdoors…this is exactly what Warmley Wheelers offers.

This cycle scheme gives everyone the chance to get into cycling. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or have never been on a bicycle before, everyone is welcome. If you have additional needs, we have some specially adapted bicycles you can use to ride around a safe area in Warmley Forest Park.

An hour's session is £5, which includes all safety equipment (£4 if you use Milestones Trust services).

Warmley Wheelers is based next to Warmley Waiting Room Café. You can book sessions Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 10am – 3pm and the first Saturday of the month, from 11am – 3pm. There are drop in sessions on Fridays from 11am – 1pm. Group bookings are available outside of these hours.

"This cycle scheme gives people with health conditions and supported needs the chance to get into cycling. We offer specialist equipment and a safe, friendly environment to support people who would normally find it difficult to ride a bike.Open Wednesday to Friday, plus the first and third Saturdays of each month, from 10am to 1pm."

Visited last weekend. My daughter has hemiplegia and has never ridden a bike. We rode the horizontal tandem. A lady called sue was extremely helpful and professional making molly feel at ease. She also let molly try out another bike which she managed to do herself. We had a great time and will def by visiting again. A very large selection of adapted bikes, also one where a wheelchair can be on the front . Everybody can enjoy fun together
Andy was really helpful, reassured my lady and set us up on our side by side. We had a lovely half hour ride along the rail track. My lady who is blind absolutely loved it. Definitely will be back when she'd like to go again.
They have a wide selection of bikes and adaptions for hire. They have something for all abilities and ages. Not sure of price as never hired as was just passing but I'm sure it would be reasonably priced. Location is perfect as placed nicely on the cycle track and a local pitstop nearby.
Brilliant! Friendly, kind and helpful staff. Huge range of bikes for all bodies and abilities, perfect location for having a go at cycling.
Great bike here for those with different abilities. Helpful and knowledgeable chap looks after it all.
