The place has good reason to have such a high rating for cleanness. It was immaculate. We had a big room overlooking the garden so it was quiet. A well cooked beakfast was served at 8.30 with the other guests, and the conversation at the table was warm, relaxed and inspiring. Linda, the host, was a warm hearted, utterly incredible woman. It's tempting to go back to Hayling Island just to see her again.
This has to be the most amazing place in the South of England you can stay! The host's Linda and Clive are very accommodating and really take pride in their work. Each of the rooms appear to have their own artistic flair. For me this was the perfect getaway from the busy city life. The breakfasts were amazing... makes me hungry now just thinking about it. I hope to visit again
Had a lovely stay here for a weekend getaway. Room is big and clean, the ensuit bathroom is also a good size. Carpet throughout the space and I personally enjoy walking without shoes indoors, just very relaxing. Big front yard for parking and also a back yard to chill out or say hello to the fishes. You'll have freshly prepared breakfast in a cosy dinning room. And the hosts are welcoming and resourceful for any queries. Great spot in Hayling island
Owners were very welcoming and friendly. Wife speaks very softly and seems an amazing lady. Rooms were really really good and very warm. Prob too warm for a northerner. Beautiful rooms and beautiful house/B&B. Has parking on the front too. Food was amazing and so was the coffee and tea. Very accommodating owners also.Rooms: 5/5
It's difficult to review this place. The owners are very lovely. Kind and caring. And the bnb would be good if it was half the price. But whilst the owners are wonderful, business is business. Either they have worked very hard to create a bnb from the 70s or it's just a tacky bnb from the 70s. Crazy decor. A doll on the toilet roll. Mad art on the walls. An eclectic collection of toiletries left over from previous customers. I arrived to such a strange perfume that smelt as if an old lady was hiding in the room somewhere but it was only a plug in diffuser. A 70s clock radio by the bed. A large electric fan the corner of the room in the middle of winter. No shower but those things you put on the taps which sprays water everywhere unless you sit in the bath and where one always comes off scolding you. The highlight was the romantic bed. A sequined bit of cloth held over the bed with drawing pins. No veggie or vegan option for breakfast so go hungry. You can stay in a luxury marriot hotel with a swimming pool and gym for the same price and I sadly wish I had.
A real Gem Made to feel really welcome and the room was spotless As a base for the night could not find fault and Linda set me off with a great breakfast. Thanks to on you both for a pleasant stay. Colin
This really is a gem of a find on the island. Very hospitable hosts, lovely clean rooms, good selection for breakfast, and an exquisite garden to relax in - this is a must! We look forward to returning.Rooms: 5/5
I am writing this view only just arrived in my upgraded room and the warm welcome combined with the lovely ambience and decor has prompted me to write the review early. Will update after Breakfast tomorrow.
Excellent stay. Very clean and welcoming. Excellent Full English Breakfast. Will definitely be going back. Lovely owners, keep up the good work
Great place to stay. Good location and fantastic room. Hosts couldn't do enough to make your stay. Excellent selection for breakfast. Well worth a stay in a great location.
