As a first time landlord, I was attracted to Walton and Allen due to their knowledge on the new Nottingham Selective Licensing and their experienced staff. I found them warm and welcoming, especially Ricky Benwell who is the Investment Manager for Walton and Allen. When we met, he advised me that his task was to achieve as much rent possible for my investment, he achieved over £75 more than I was expecting. My whole experience with Walton and Allen can only be deemed as extremely positive. From finding me a tenant to sourcing furniture or providing maintenance quotes, it was effortless. I was very impressed and would recommend Ricky and the company to friends and family, as such they’ll be valuing my mums house for sale.

My parents live in a property managed by this inept company. After discussions this weekend with others, I thought I would do my own checking, only to find they have 3.9 out of 5 rating. Then I realised all the better ratings were for sales and lettings and block management have 15 reviews, all rated at one star. Sort on rating and you will find them. So they even set up the reviews so that block management look good. Reading others reviews, and hearing what I have, I can only agree with everything those 15 reviews have said. In addition, I would add that their actions are totally immoral. Keep away from them at all costs. Walton and Allen will no doubt know what block I refer to. I, and others, await your thoughts. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Following the above review Walton and Allen replied asking me to contact them by phone to discuss my concerns. I did, and guess what, no one was available to talk me. I told the switchboard I had a concern I wanted to discuss, but all they wanted to do was to take my information and they would ring back. From what I have heard, and read here, that would never happen. Just as well as reviews are meant for everyone to read and whatever they have to say should be written for all to see. As I said previously, they will no doubt know what block I am referring to, (unless they have many blocks with concerns) and I, and others, await their thoughts. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This appears to substantiate what I have heard about Walton and Allen Block Management from my parents and their friends who are suffering under your so called management. Empty promises resulting in a 'pin pong' game. Ring us - but you are never available. Next stage - Email us - but you never respond. And so it goes on, and on and on until hopefully, from your point of view, the person with a complaint gets fed up and goes away. Not willing to join in this game with you. I think people who read these reviews can make up their own minds from now on and conclude that they should keep away from a managing agent who is not a member of any professional body and do not publish their complaints procedure anywhere.

Myself and my wife were looking to rent a property that Wallen & Allen were advertising in Leicester. I had the privilege to speak to Naomi who was our first point of contact and kept us in the loop all through the process. Naomi Lee-Perkins is such an asset and a credit to your company. She was professional, helpful and courteous. We have managed to get our property and all thanks to the hard work and help we got from Naomi.Thank you to Walton & Allen.. Thank you and God Bless you.

We are happy with Walton and Allen’s professional help, although in the beginning there were some misunderstanding. I have to say they did a good job for the process of purchase a house/flat. Thomas and Harli-Rae are professional and nice as the sales negotiators . We also want to thank Paul for his time and professional advise although we did not go ahead with the mortgage adviser eventually. I do hope in the future if we could be provided the phone number of the person who will show us the houses in advance that will be even better. It will definitely reduce the uncertain waiting time. All in all, I will recommend this company.

These have honestly been the worst agent I have ever dealt with in my life. No communication skills, no time or effort goes into their customers and if you aren’t selling your own house through them you have no chance of buying a property of theirs. They give all estate agents a bad name and I would avoid at all costs. Poor service and I am so dissapointed with my experience. To respond to your comment. I work for an Agency and I am fully aware someone has offered higher than me! After calling you again to find out! I am outraged that you never call me back and always use the same excuse as the person dealing with this is out the office! Yet as soon as I take my complaint to google I get a callback! I told numerous employee’s I was on holiday for a week. Yet I still am having a chase you! No chance to increase my offer or anything. And to be clear! I also got informed by one of your employees that I needed to be financially qualified by YOUR financial advisor yet I have my aip and offered to forward you paperwork! And my last comment! DO NOT PUT A HOUSE ON AT 100k guide price and tell me they want 120k be a true agent and put it on what the vendor wants you money making waste of time agents!
