I cannot thank Walm lane as urgent enough for the exceptional care and kindness I have received since joining this practice Dr Redrado has been so helpful towards me and the treatment she has provided is excellent and very personable in her approach. In these very testing times when they are so busy the reception are always so courteous and helpful and I feel very blessed to be a patient at this surgery. They deserve the highest praise and I am indebted Thank you for your dedication Dr Redrado I am so grateful
Dr. Mirza had gone above and beyond for me for the past decade. I moved from Canada to the UK which was so scary at first and she was always so welcoming, kind, empathetic, never rushed me, caring and just all in all amazing. I am sadly moving so I will have to change GP’s but she really is one in a million. All the secretaries and the whole team have always been so amazing and kind I am grateful for them all!
The receptionists are always so helpful and empathetic and whenever I have seen the doctors they have been amazing kind and caring. I was nervous to go to a new doctors after moving but honestly I feel so lucky to have this doctors on my doorstep. Thank you to all the staff at walm lane we really appreciate you.
- The slot to call in order to have a regular appointment is literally 15 minutes 8.45-9.00 am, actually, very probably it's even shorter as I have never heard the queuing message earlier than 8.50 am, before it's simply the busy signal. - The opening time slots, in general, are really minimal, we're talking about maximum 4.5 hours per day. It's not that you don't know it a priori, but we're talking about a completely impractical practice, even more so when these 4.5 hours are divided into two slots daily. - Complete absence of personification of the patient. Complete absence of human contact aspect. Every time different GP, to be fair not every time, 25% of the cases you are indeed treated by the GP you are assigned to. I cannot understand how exactly this is different from the average walk-in centre or even hospital, which at least offer you the chance to walk in - Appointments in a horizon of one-two weeks or even more if it is not urgent. I wanted a simple referral for a blood test because of my chronic heart problem following the orders of the hospital cardiologist who has been assigned to me by NHS, things that are of course included in my medical records, but they told me I had to wait for an appointment after two weeks even when I informed them about the case. - All these years, the only time they contacted me was in order to verify I'm still in the UK, when I have contacted them for various reasons several times during the same period. For context, we're talking about a 39-year-old person who had a heart attack at 36 without an established cause for the triggering of the MI mechanism. - Today in the middle of a period of 2-3 days where London simply doesn't function snow, I was unfortunately 11 minutes late for my appointment booked 10 days ago. My bad. But in order to do so I had to leave my job much earlier, having calculated double the normal commuting time. Still, I was 11 minutes late, I couldn't be demanding, and as always I was kind. But as the receptionist informed me after a 3-minute waiting while the other receptionist couldn't help me I had lost my appointment, and the GP had left. I left, too. But I will definitely never go back, and I'll do my best to pass the message to the neighbourhood
Best surgery I’ve ever been in London. The receptionist are very kind and respectful, and the doctors are excellent!
This has been my GP for a year now and the services I get is really good. I never had any problem with appointments and getting checked. The doctors are knowledgeable and the receptionist are nice.
Seems to get a lot of negative reviews, however I have always found them to be good.
Hell. This is hell. The receptionists are hell Dr Redrado hasn't done anything but drug me up Dr Mirza has done nothing but gaslight me and pretend she's doing something These are supposedly the best Dr's in the practice friendly advice, they're definitely NOT Dr's There used to be another Dr who was an absolute unit of a braincell who idk whether to be thankful or remorseful of his sudden disappearance. Nothing is ever documented and none of my health records are available to them Starting to think this isn't a legitimate NHS practice but rather a scammers business. But then again I wonder how they're able to prescribe nothing but painkillers... Can't even get referrals to hospitals. Use at ur own risk of certain death
I have been a patient at Walm Lane Surgery for 63 years. I have never had a problem with any of the reception staff, who I believe always work professionally and diligently. Dr Redrado is an excellent GP. She has always been so kind to me and my family. She works so late into the evening and takes pains to do something carefully and completely. We are blessed to have her in our lives.
I've been with Walm lane surgery for around 4/5 years. I am also a registered nurse. Contrary to many of the reviews below, I've had a great experience with the surgery, including admin who I have found to be very helpful. Dr Mirza and Dr Redrado are fantastic GPs, my experience has been that they have given sufficient time, care and consideration of my health needs, I have never felt rushed or unheard. My experience with the practice nurse has also been great, friendly and thorough care. Some of the processes eg. Online consultation form may be harder for some patients to complete, however I have found the online consultations to be efficient and helpful for me with my busy schedule at times. Sometimes the phone lines are busy as to be expected however I have always been able to speak to someone and get a same day appointment for an urgent need or an appointment within a week for a non-urgent need. I would recommend Walm lane surgery.
