I have a family doctor and that’s how I get my treatments looked after. When I arrived at the clinic I was told that I needed to have an appointment, but because of the nature issue I was accepted to be seen by the doctor. The nurse was very kind and helped me with my low blood sugar situation. Dr. Maynard was great with an excellent bedside manner.
Even with pre-booked appointments, you're often made to wait for 30-40 minutes. What's the point of scheduling an appointment if you still have to wait? If there’s a lack of proper time management, they should take responsibility and acknowledge that they are struggling to handle patient scheduling effectively.
The Doctors are amazing! But their receptionist are very rude. They try to charge me for 10 dollars for a no show appointment when it’s my first time on this establishment and then brushed me off when I was telling them it was my first time. -since I can’t reply on his response message by the “owner”. You have a very poor response management and it is very unprofessional, claiming to be the owner. Might as well get yourself customer service lessons, puhlease before you continuously lose patients. This is by far the first and last time on this clinic. You are as rude as your receptionist, the apple never goes far from the tree indeed.
Very kind staff. I was driving around the city looking for walk-in clinic. Unfortunately did not have appt but this place was graciously able to squeeze me in for my infected ingrown toenail. Thankful!!
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU NEED TO DO A TB SKIN TEST. Here you’re charged way more than other clinics and the receptionist is very rude. I only had to do 1 step skin test and had to pay again to do my readings like who just takes the tuberculin shot and doesn’t want the readings?. The doctor told me to take chest x-ray on a very negligible lesion which was seen because of the vaccination I got when I was a child. He mentioned it was because of the vaccination and still wanted me to get x-ray done from London X-ray associates. I wonder if the doctor too gets commission on sending people unnecessarily there. I had to spend more than double the price of 2 step skin test which I did from a different clinic before. I just think most people are very unprofessional in this clinic.
I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the receptionist at Huron Medical Centre . When I greeted her politely, she rudely screamed “What do you need?” Her tone was unprofessional and dismissive, as if my inquiry was an inconvenience. When I mentioned booking an appointment, she responded in an unnecessarily harsh manner, saying, “Do you want to book an appointment or not?” I am well aware that appointments can be booked online, but certain clinics do not offer all services, which is why I needed to clarify some details before proceeding. It is unfortunate that such rude behavior is being displayed towards patients. This person should not be representing the clinic in any capacity. Such behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect well on the clinic’s image. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses this issue to ensure future patients do not face a similar experience.
So, we haven't even been yet,but I have to share about the receptionist! I called since my daughter has strep throat. Explained the situation to the receptionist "Unfortunately, we're fully booked here today," my heart fell. "Would it be okay if I book you at our other location?" I nearly cried in relief at that! How wonderful! Then she proceeded to tell me the *exact* intersection so I didn't get lost, which was so helpful and kind. I didn't get her name sadly, but wow, how excellent was she?! Thank you so, so much! Edit! We ended up seeing Dr. Xiao. She was amazing at explaining the need for my daughter's throat swab, how it would happen and how it would feel. She also entrusted the developing culture to my daughter to watch over very, very carefully to calm any nervousness! What a warm, kind and excellent doctor! She was so amazing! I can't recommend this place enough. By appointment only, but they got my wee one in quickly. I have nothing but praise for them
I would give ZERO stars here! As an individual new to Canada; with zero experience and very little knowledge of how the systems work, I would hate to believe that the service I received today from the occupants of this clinic is what’s being issued in Canada. Booking an appointment over the phone as it has been maybe my 3rd time, I’ve never received a “ten dollar” no show policy or a booking confirmation email. After being educated, I understand that it’s “posted on the wall” or “listed on the website”, however, as a customer or a new patient at your clinic, I would’ve hoped for the situation to be dealt with differently. Anyhow, I’ve been called in today to discuss my medical results with the doctor who’s been seeing me he’s amazing by the way, Dr. Punia and I’ve been turned away by the receptionists after not paying $10. I left and had them email my results while I have no idea what they mean. By the time I got home, I realized that being in my position; pregnant, with underlying health conditions and awaiting very important results from my doctor, this couldn’t be right. I decided to call in to see if I can speak with a “manager”. The first time I called, I’ve been hung up on by the receptionist after being accused of being “rude” because I wasn’t comfortable providing my last name to someone who refused to give me their first name, as I had already given mine. The second time I called, I got in touch with Ray, he listened to me, assured me that he understood and promised to get his manager to call me. Shortly, the manager called, Sam was his name. Sam told me that I am irresponsible for missing and not remembering an appointment I booked, barely let me speak, and showed no sense of empathy or understanding. Eventually, I realized that this wasn’t worth it and the conversation wasn’t getting anywhere. Seeing that this is the MANAGER being this way with me, I told him “never mind, don’t worry about it”. Sam responded “AND YOU’RE BANNED FROM THE CLINIC, GO TO HELL” and hung up! I’ve never in all my life experienced this extent of poor service, especially with clinics. It’s tremendously sad that the worst part of it came from the person in charge. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone, this experience has been traumatic. I worry about my health records being in the hands of these monsters. All I have to say in response to you all is be blessed, God sees and hears it all. Tables surely do turn. I was sure to record the telephone conversations each time for reporting use, and I’m so glad that I did. This was seriously unbelievable
I’d recommend this walk-in clinic to anyone. Booked an appointment online just this morning and was able to get in same day. My appointment was at 12:12pm, I was out by 12:25pm with a prescription in hand. Painless experience, kind employees and expedited service. Thank you so much!!
My experience was awesome from the moment I stepped in. The receptionists were pleasant and very welcoming. That alone gave me good feeling inside. .. after which I did not a long wait to see Doctor Sarbjit Punic ..he was welcoming as well. This will be my new medical centre Thank you, TIMA.. keep on being the receptionist you are .
