Rude and judgmental. Unfortunately you get pot luck with whom you get . I followed the usual online request which required a call to discuss certain meds that needed “ pharmacist assessment “. Having been told by the operative that all requests would be sent to the collection pharmacy for the next day , upon arrival that wasn’t the case. I called in to be rudely interrupted and given attitude by Carol . So I filled in a complaint as she wasn’t going to assist let alone be customer friendly. I then received a patronising, self confessed judgementalist dr Aras who made a sarcastic “ apology “ and proposed i take up the Carol issue with her!!! He employs her and with his own attitude needs to take a time out to assess his own reaction to patients. Such a shame as so many times i have been there with very helpful and pleasant staff - Interesting postscript- Dear Mr Curry, Thank you for your prompt review. Great practice. Yes you have to make most requests online now but you can speak to the staff, friendly and helpful and every interaction I have had with doctors and nurses has been really good. So many of then bad reviews here seem to be from people with a grievance.
After decades of being registered with this GP practice with little contact apart from recently I can now concur with a previous review that “Ashville Surgery can seriously damage your health”. Accordingly I have now transferred to another GP practice in Fulham as I have no faith in the doctors at Ashville Surgery and no further endurance of their dismissive impolite reception staff!
Impossible to get an appointment in person. They request everything is done online. It's quite hard to provide photos of difficult areas and with bad quality camera. I've been told I got a referral to a dermatologist in hospital and nearly 3months later am now receiving a message that the dermatologist got back to them based on a low quality photos and to see a GP. My other friends having a similar issues were referred to hospital and got an appoinent ASAP. Had a really bad injury in the past to meniscus and Ashville surgery GP at the time would not want to send me for a scan. When it finally happened and had a chat with surgeon in hospital he said it was a bad tear. Awful GP surgery and will be changing it ASAP. Slow, unreliable and very hard to contact. And I'm a young person that can do things online, so I can only wonder how older people get treated.
Significant improvement in the past months - quicker responses from doctors and kids seen quicker. As always the team at reception is great!
Nurses are caring and attentive, my issues were with doctors, most of the times they don't take your concerns seriously and they tend to drop you a text, not even a phone call let alone an appointment in person. I now changed my surgery and I am very happy with them!
They are just wonderful in every aspect both staff and doctors, putting the care and attention needed according to the problem. Even if now everything is done through computers, when necessary they are proactive and effective with a human touch. Highly recommend!
Me personally is well looked after by entire team. Rarely mistakes do happen on both sides but resolved quickly with great communication. This surgery has my great recommendation A*****
Requested for my sick notes days ago but has not received yet so did my query twice the first staff I spoke yesterday was able to view my sick note request and was informed that the staff will inform me back but no update yet so I did query again today I was informed by one of the staff that they could not even find my sick notes request now,,,,Now am confused
I went to Ashville for 13 years and always had a really positive experience there. The doctors and nurses were really kind and helpful and I never had to wait too long. I had a baby too during that time and they were great with her too. Sadly I moved out of the area and was given 30 days to find a new practice . I would like me to have stayed with them.
