Fantastic walk in....everone friendly and reassuring. Better than a GP!!!
I happened to be travelling through London for a few days for work and really needed some medical help. The staff were all so friendly & efficient. My wait was about 25 minutes. The facility is clean and comfortable and I felt really valued - better than at my own GP’s office to be honest! Thanks to all the staff for their help.
The nurse practitioner, Jo, saved my life. I was in London as part of a world trip and wanted assistance for some back and neck pain. Jo did a thorough check and informed me that almost no air was getting into one of my lungs. She assisted me to get an urgent GP appointment and x-ray and within only a few hours I was in hospital. The eventual diagnosis was stage 4 lung cancer and I am now back in Australia receiving treatment. I cannott thank Jo and the NHS enough for the thorough, compassionate, and professional service.
I wouldn’t bother. Greeted with a sign that walk in centre was full, and instead you would be triaged and seen if emergency. Receptionist just says they are full and that I should go. I point out to the receptionist who would therefore do the triage and judge what is an emergency, as their sign says. She looked confused and only started complaining to her colleagues. Zero interest or engagement - I get it not the easiest job, but it’s not the fault of the patients. Clearly their signs need sorting, plus reception staff to be retrained in customer relations. Getting the first interaction right makes a big difference at any public service.
If not necessary, don't come to Parsons Green walk-in clinic. Extremely long waiting hours and very cold customer service. Patients are not being seen according to arrival times but how nurses decide. I waited much longer than patients arriving much later than I did. Very disappointing and not acceptable. Best is to stay away. Came twicebut never again
Ive wait with my daughter 4 h , asking how long will take , every time I been told : you are the next! The Gp advice us to come here that’s how they don’t have an emergency appointment for today, my daughter has a strong virus, which need antibiotics, same as my other daughter had. We come with cough, fever , headache, lower back pain…… and I get antibiotic for urinary infection!!!!!!! So disappointed! That’s the only thing they diagnosed…. Ahhh they don’t know why she is having high fever !!!!
Unfortunately, A poor service, given by the nurse who received me. Was scolded like if I was a child, or a plagued person, carrying the worst virus ever. Came here because I was advised to by another NHS Centre, as I felt bad during the weekend. Was requested why as I could possibly infect other patient. Contrary tonton the nurse who received me, I wore a mask, used some hydroalcoolic solution. And I was finally told that I might probably be positive to the Covid. I’m sorry to have require the service you’re paid for. I know the NHS and I root for it. But the way you can be welcomed can be really poor sometimes.
I've been a regular patient to this walk in center for years. My experience is always the same, well treated, well diagnosed by a group of nurses who are always nice and willing to help.
The nurse with the short red hair was incredibly rude to me and undermined my health conditions. There was also no sense of que. people who walked in after me went before me.
This is the coldest place to be in. Receptionist very cold. No customer service. Staff passing by waiting patients seem dont care at all.... not even asking if they have been attended to already. People here seem dont like their job at all.... Ismael in eye screening doesnt seem to demonstrate empathy to patients. Remember you may become the patient one day... There are room for improvement... And maybe CQC can pay them a visit..... just to check @NHS
