Medium sized Waitrose, so doesn't stock full range of products. Friendly, helpful staff. Good wine deals, Celeste crianza half the price it costs in Spain where it's produced.
One of the security guards was extremely aggressive and insulting towards me and my husband whilst we were doing our shopping for absolutely no reason, I tried to make a complaint about it and the store never bothered to get back to me despite telling me that they’d investigate the incident. The aggressive staff member is a short bald guy, when I confronted him about his behaviour he even admitted that it was an unacceptable way to speak to customers, but that he didn’t care. Guy is a liability and it’s shocking that Waitrose aren’t interested in giving this man some training in customer service.
It was great to take my Mother to the store, park and get into the shop easily. There is plenty of choice, but it would be even better with a proper deli and ham on the bone availble. Packet ham is just too bland.
Large spacious store. Plenty of free parking for 90mins, on 3 levels. The store never seems too busy, so you can browse with ease. Its location is easily accessible by foot from the town centre, but you don't have to go through the middle of town centre to access it. Reasonable size cafe and outside seating area
Lovely place to shop for organic food and Dutch organic grocery. Loved the atmosphere in waitrose and specially the milk we get here. If you are member you get free neuro coffee which is a bonus. We visit every week
Always a premium shopping experience. Like their range of budget friendly Waitrose essentials range of products. Pls fix the coffee machine as I love Waitrose coffee
Food is always good hence four stars but the car park gets one star. I do wish they would resurface/ repair it. Negotiating all the potholes, raised drainage strips and rough surface with a trolley is so painful on my wrists and arthritis and is why I don't visit on a regular basis. It really is a nightmare surface and hasn't been maintained in years. I have sent many comments to management but never a reply - Do they not care?
Some pleasant and helpful staff today, both long standing and newer and working hard, Store looking cleaner than before but coffee machine not clean and lack of products for hygiene evident.
Such a pleasant shopping experience. Aisles are always well stocked with delicious items. Parking is free for 1.5 hours and easy. Aisles are relatively quiet and everyone is very helpful and friendly. Make sure you sign up to the app, if you do, there's a free hot drink every time you shop, just take a reusable cup.
Love coming here but can only do it occasional as i live in suttoncoldfield. There are so many things to look at and i spend quite a bit of time going round .
