Well done to Adam, the very helpful security guard, who popped to the cafe straight after my phone call to Asda, to retrieve a book I had left in the cafe today. He didn’t have to do that and I feel, went above and beyond to help.I regard this as great customer service from a very decent young man. Give him a bonus Asda!!!!
Asda Cafe very busy today. Arrived at 1pm and advised there were only three options availablebreakfast , fish and chips or baked potato The displays were bare. Ordered fish, breakfast no egg due to allergy and child beans and chips. Took 40 minutes for fish to arrive followed a few minutes later by the breakfast which had eggs on, I had to ask for it to be redone. Then waited a few more minutes for the child’s chips and beans. There were no forks, the eventually arrived with the child’s meal. Staff were super stressed and very impatient. This is not the first time I have visited and there has been under staffing and no stock. I suggest if Asda are not prepared to run this part of the Store with enthusiasm and professionalism then they should consider it should remain as an option. With a store rammed with stock there is little excuse to be so poorly stocked.
I walked in yesterday Friday afternoon and had the worst experience as myself and my partner went to use the pizza bar create your own pizzas and the lady who served us over the counter was incredibly rude - I asked her to order a pizza and she sighed and started talking under her breath which I thought was really rude - usually we have had great experiences here from another lady who's always been lovely and kind however today was a complete turn around.
I have never had a positive experience in this store. Last time I went I was accused of stealing twice by the same member of staff and didn’t even get an apology when he realised that I hadn’t stolen anything. After this I decided to only order from Asda and even then I have terrible experiences. I have just received my order but my refund request due to 3 missing items was denied and I was not even given a reason. As well as this, the delivery driver was very rude on the phone, went to the wrong house and yelled at my neighbour in a different language.
I would like to thank Amy on Customer Service desk for her help when I was returning an item today. She was extremely kind and efficient and went above and beyond to help me. Thank you she is a credit to your store
