This was mine & my daughter's first time eating here. I can't say I was blown away by the food although I did enjoy it, my chicken was slightly overdone, chips were perfect & my daughter enjoyed her meal & loved her ice cream. Nice clean child friendly restaurant. The staff were friendly & attentive. If you're really hungry I'd suggest going when it's much quieter as you will have a long wait for your food to arrive
Being coming here since 2013 & Have never been disappointed. Great spot and excellent food.
Unfortunately, as people say it's quite bland and overpriced. It is only worth going if you have a 40/50% voucher and even then, the the portion sizes are way too small for a Texan restaurant.
Amazing experience, Food was great we had the nachos and Taquitos spring rolls as an appetizers and the chicken plate "Chicken Galisto" both were mouth watering , portions are good and a bit much if u are not soo hungry : Prices are the norm as well !
I had a family get together on Fri 14/7 to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Initially we were given table upstairs. As the restaurant wasn't full we spoke to the manager Tony who was very accommodating. We were given the chance to sit downstairs at short notice. Other staff members were very helpful and displayed professionalism. Food and drinks was amazing! We even had separate bills even though we ordered together. My daughter had a fantastic night! Thank you All at Chimichanga, we'll be back soon.
I used to be a regular at this restaurant but after my experience earlier this year has left me rather disappointed. It seems that the chain has underdone an overhaul of sorts and have decided to drastically reduce the portions of mains haven't had starters here so can't confirm that. My husband's favourite used to be the Mexican Paella which used to be served in a huge bowl, alas now it has almost halved in size and tastes different to what it used to be like. The enchiladas are still pretty tasty but again, portions too small..Wouldn't visit again.
Good atmosphere during weekdays.Good service. Budget dinner if opted for offers. Mexican version of Paella was lovely. Banana burrito was one of the sugary dessert I had in last few years. This is not bad if you have huge sugar cravings.
Service is brilliant. There was a mistake with our meal..... only had one bought out and they couldn’t be any more apologetic. Were straight on it and gave us free drinks. Food is amazing. Loved it!!! Well done guys.
The table was booked for 8 people, when we arrived the staff had to put 2 tables together and it felt like they wern't expecting us. The staff at first, were pleasant enough they gave us time order our food and our drinks. Then it went down hill after that. The starters came out with the waitress given 1 worded comments on who's food she had. For example 2 of us had ordered a spicy fish starter, all she said was "fish" an that was it for the rest of the starters. 1 of the starters came out quite a bit after the others. Whilst we were eating, the waitress came an cleared the plates on those who had finished. As soon as we had finished our starter our main course came out, even though 1of us was still eating there starter. We all had another drink, but that felt like when we ordered we was being inconvenient to the staff. There were other customers in the restaurant as well, but they were not rushed of their feet. Towards the end of the evening 6 of us had a pudding and 1 of us had another cocktail. Again it was an effort from the staff. By this time there was just our group and 2 people left in the restaurant. So I can appreciate they wanted to get all cleaned up and go home. The time was about 10.15pm as we were eating our puddings, individual members of staff came over and just took 1 item of crockery or a glass off of our table, with not a smile on any of there faces. We asked for the bill and whilst the bill payer went upstairs to the bathroom the bill was presented to his wife and the waiter asked how we was paying, his wife wasn't sure and said so at the time. This too was met with hostility. The bill was paid in full and we did not leave a paying tip as the staff did not deserve one. The tip we did leave however, was do not be rude to your customers. The food itself was very nice, it's a shame that the staff were all youngsters have no staffing etiquette when it comes to there customers. They need re-training on how to deal with paying custmers. We were not difficult we were all polite 2 of our group were under 16 We were out as a family get together, and I am afraid this experience spoilt the night. I am afraid we will not be gong in this restaurant again, which is a shame especially as we have used this restaurant several times before.
Went Here For My Birthday, Me and My Boyfriend Were excited to try something New. I like the atmosphere, it was very cosy, The staff were very Attentive. We enjoyed the starter, They were just too Perfect, That alone was Then Onto the Main!!! Burrito! No Good No Flavour fullstop. Then Onto Dessert!! Just wasn't mouthwatering. It wasn't exciting, although it sound exciting on the menu. Cocktail was Delicious 100% So 1/3... Would I go Back.. Yes. It's all an Experience And I like to Try things
