Huge selection of real ales from several different breweries served in a warm, homely atmosphere with plenty of seating available. A must place to visit if you like real ale.
A very organized real ale pub. Great choice of ales. And a nice friendly pub.
Decent pub. Not as good as it used to be. Not much character now. Bit expensive now
Another excellent real ale pub with at least six to choose from. There is a board displaying that the pub has served over 600 different ales as of July this year.
A lovely old worldy pub with a great selection of real ales and Cheese and onion cobs ..It was quiet on my recent visit, a Tuesday afternoon, but on previous visits the pub has been full of enthusiastic locals and people who have travelled there to sample their fine Ales..
At present it is closed due to covid , It has full range of real ales including few foreign beers . Owners and staff are polite and friendly . A wondedful pub that i return to as often as i can when in the area .
