Had a lovely birthday lunch here with my husband and grandson food was delicious service superb, would have been 5 stars but had to wait 1hr for food!

Doors opened in freezing weather due to smoke from kitchen. Inedible roast lunch with off cuts of solid chewy beef served. I am sure our family dog eats better! waitress did offer to replace but I had gone beyond hungry by this point. An offer of a refund or voucher to visit again would have been preferred Never again!Food: 1/5

Went mid afternoon on a Wednesday so the place was quiet. A friendly welcome from the staff and it was easy to order drinks at the bar and food via the app. We shared three starters with a side of chips and it was enough as a sharing meal between two people. It's a great venue to catch the sun and has unique feels compared to other sizzling pubs like the court oak. Will be back here soon to try the Sunday roast options. I decided to go out for a meal with my partner and someone decided to potty train their child in the middle of the restaurant it completely put us off our food and smelt disgusting… you would think the staff would of told them to go to the toilet it’s just not acceptable in a place where people are eating or any public place. I won’t be coming again…

Nice place to eat. But all I wanted was a cob or sandwich. IE cheese and onion or ham salad. But it wasn't on the menu. I did ask but they said no. How difficult is it to do something so simple.

Popped in lunch time today with the wife. Mega mix grill was exceptional, way to much food for me. The wife had Hunters chicken, and really enjoyed it. Will definitely return

We visited tonight for a friend's birthday. Pre-booked a table for 5 through the website. We had an absolutely lovely meal and the staff were friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was great and reasonably priced. Looking forward to a return visit. Dietary restrictions: Asked every time if anyone had meal restrictions.

I had the beef Sunday roast, the beef was so tough I could hardly cut in, nevermind chew it. The carrots were as hard as rocks and the Yorkshire pudding was powdery. Terrible! If it wasn't paid for by someone else, I would have had something to say about it.Food: 1/5

Found a fly in food which I understand can happen but when asking for something as an apology due to my partners meal being at a different time now waiting for it to be re cooked the manager did not deal with it great. The Manager said that they had done their bit by replacing the meal as an apology which I stated was a right as we should have a meal with no flies in. Also it had put me off eating my own meal. The Manager was very argumentative that they cannot help deal flies being in the food and that I had gone OTT with it. I understand that this can happen but a form of apology in some way would have been better for customer service. I will also be reporting this to HSE and food standards due to not admitting blame and trying to rectify the situation in the best possible way and thinking it os acceptable to find a dead fly in the food. I will not be dining in here again, if I want a fly dinner I will go to the local park.
