Nice little pub, fairly good prices. Serve Fireballs at the bar! Bonus!
Lovely place. Bar staff are awsome
Do not do food only crisps so like I said no food
Went there expecting to enjoy an early Saturday evening family meal & a drink... Unfortunately told they no longer do meals so took our custom elsewhere. Pity, because I had been looking forward to using this particular pub for some time. Will try it in the future though but just for a drink
A Great Local pub the choice of ales is limited and since a change of ownership the pub seems to be stuck in limbo awaiting the completion of the transformation to a bar and grill. Let's hope this happens soon.
My father's disable chair battery died, he asked if he could use there phone so he could get help don't know if it was manager but he told my father he'd got no time. So they won't be getting my trade
The owners Barry and Jane make you so welcome. The food is lovely and inexpensive. It's also nice to go somewhere that offers Sunday dinner and menu at the same time if you don't fancy a roast. Beer is good and atmosphere friendly.
Pleasant 'old style' pub with all of the standard tipples plus a couple of real ales. Try the Enville ale - that is always good here. Generally fairly quiet though, with a few local characters being the usual crowd. A number of decent sounds on the jukebox to be had.
Absolutely lovely place, extremely friendly staff. Had a funeral there today and was made to feel so welcome. Food was beautiful. Will definitely be calling back in again when in the area and would recommend.
This was a hub of the local community many locals met there and made Light of many complex intriguing news. Often holding bank holiday events, live music and really just being a great local pub for all to enjoy and be part of. I have to say mainly due to the warm welcome of a certain excellent Landlady Angie. The pub has changed hands quite a few times since those golden years. Basically it has become like many of our pubs prominently an eating place. Sadly the sparkle over the years has weakened. Where oh where have our traditional pubs gone.
