I came here for a works meal over the Christmas period, it was very quiet, we were the only party here. There was a good selection of drinks to choose from and service was friendly. The overall view of the food was that it was overcooked, we were a little disappointed, especially since we were the only people in that night but it was still acceptable. I like the overall look of the place although it's starting to need a new lick of paint. Staff were polite and friendly and checked we were happy with our food on several occasions

Sat downstairs, food OK went for the meal deal with a sandwich chips and coffee. I will say it was ridiculously noisy, couldn't talk to the people I was with as I couldn't hear them. The upkeep of the building is so so, I understand its old however when you have damp marks and cobwebs you start to question everything else, plus the female toilets are always blocked or broken.

Lovely place, staff were friendly. Food was nice. Not overly large portions.

This was my second visit this year and I was disappointed both times. Slow service (waited an hour for breakfast and it was cold when it came). Tables wernt cleared between courses??! And there was a horrendous smell which was apparently the drains from the kitchen!!!! The bathrooms were dirty, toilets blocked, no toilet paper no soap. Needless to say i wont make the same mistake again.

Beautiful location and the food is reasonably priced, however I visited twice, six months apart and the menu was exactly the same...maybe a bit of a change for the seasons?
