First time eating here since having a GF dietary requirement. Hannah took out drinks order and the mgr took my order who explained that food comes out when it's ready and my GF meal would take a little longer. 2 servers came past and said my meal wouldn't be long, hubby already half way through his. Mine arrived brought over my head chef. It was delicious chicken kare. I asked Hannah our original server why it takes so long not that it was an issue she explained that all the pans and utensils and area is cleaned down, they use separate pots of prepared veg/meat for dietary requirements so reducing risk of cross contamination. She said they take allergies really seriously.nVery impressed would definitely go again
Glasses filthy. My glass was smeared with fingerprints and leftover food from someones gob. Yuck. Asked to change- replacement was hardly better. I guess they just shake the dirty glasses in water a bit. Tables dirty. They said “all the food is served as it comes” which assumes hot from the kitchen. Then served us barely warm gyoza. Mains katsu chicken curry and chicken ramen. Nothing special
Not too bad for massed, churned out Japanese food. My yaki udon was a little bland and the duck gyoza were more like miniature pasties, however, the tama squid was decent enough. The peach iced tea was also very good. I guess you get what you pay for.nnOn the plus side, our waitress, Hannah, was very nice and amiable, and despite there being a wait to get in, we were served relatively quickly.
The service is always great here. My son has allergies to egg and dairy and this is one of the few places I feel safe taking him to eat. I feel allergies are taken very seriously at this location and we’ve never had an issue with cross-contamination. The manager on yesterday knew the menu so well and helped guide me on ordering something safe for my son. Much appreciated wagamama
Excellent experience. We as a family have a lot of food allergies and we were accommodated fantastically by the restaurant. All staff going above and beyond for us to eat there and safely, checking with the chef which eased our natural worries of eating out. With food allergies we are often seen as a burden or an inconvenience so it was nice to be listened to and catered for.
