This is completely absurd! I ordered tickets online to see Deadpool and Wolverine for myself, my wife, and our 15- and 16-year-old children. They took my money, but the tickets never arrived. After spending 20 minutes waiting in line at the counter, I finally spoke to someone who informed me that the tickets had not been booked. By that time, our seats were gone, and the only ones left were at the front of the theater.nnOnce we finally got our tickets and not being asked for I.D for the kids we approached the cinema entrance, a rude woman with a squeaky voice denied us entry because my 16-year-old looks younger than my 15-year-old and we didn’t have ID to prove her age. It was frustrating to deal with someone who showed no common sense. Why should a 15-year-old be expected to carry ID, especially when they're with their parents?nnFortunately, we were able to go to Odeon instead. They simply asked for date of births and were friendly enough to let them in based on appearance using the common sense they were born with. I will never go back to Vue or recommend it to anyone. Their lack of common sense and very poor customer service, especially from the squeaky lady, made my kids feel like criminals, which is just ridiculous!
Tried out their new ‘Recliner’ seats. Absolutely amazing and now THE only way I’ll be watching movies at the cinema moving forward. With controls for both back rest decline and footrest incline. Along with a rotating tray for your drink and popcorn / pick and mix. Literally didn’t want the movie to finish. Highly recommend
Went to watch Alien Romulus, got ignored by staff as we waited in the queue, came to our group of 6 and were ignored by the 8 members of staff for 15 minutes, snotty women served us finally after I literally had to wave my hands in the air to finally get service, then had to wait another 15 minutes to get a simple drink each, I appreciate it can be busy, but we were very nearly late to our film despite getting there in advance.nnHalf the staff just stood around or walking off ignoring people, the other half walking off to the ice-cream section to spend 10 minutes making icecream, or coming back from that section to make nachos for another 10 minutes somehow, saw a manager who just walked off offering zero help to anyone, why she was even there I don't knownnScreen wasn't even particularly good, colours were washed out, blacks were faded, seating area was still dirty from the showing before, not mention the place has been under construction and half open for monthsnnWho ever served us, despite being rude told us the only seats available were right at the front, and in the showing only about half of it had people in. To give the benefit of doubt maybe people booked them and didn't turn up, but in general this has to be the worst place to see a film in norfolk now, standards are completely gonennI see other comments have been ignored, but if anyone does read this you staff are beyond rude and this needs looking into, had another issues a few weeks before were staff were selling multiple popcorn buckets to one customer so they could sell them on eBay, nevermind just wanting one for us.nnJust a miserable experience whenever we come here
Cinema great but staff could be more cheerful, and friendly! They all look miserable. No customer service whatsoever. Only decent thing about the trip here was the movie.
New recliner feel luxury and comfy,nPopcorn is huge,nStaff are so friendly,nAlready planning our next trip!
