May have upgraded the seats etc but if the film doesn't play and continoius stutters so bad for first 15 mins that you no idea of the plot there's no point. They didnt know how to fix it or understand how it affected the expereince. Walked out and got refund. Definitely not worth over 20 quid for 2 tickets on a week day. 0 compensation offered either. Very sad as was really looking forward to the film. It also wasn't the first time they'd had this issue!!
I had a great experience today! The reclining chairs were super comfortable and made the whole movie so relaxing. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. A bit expensive though, but good for a “treat day”
Now the refurbishment is nearly done still odd bits need doing near the Oscar bar,the seating is lovely very comfortable,the front walk way is so much better now that the old tills have gone,but I use the disabled toilet but it had no toilet roll or hand soap this need to be sorted right away and regular checks signed off,one other thing is the protector room lightning needs tonbe checked and switched off as it was left on half way through a movie light up the back row,few tune ups need sorting but other than that I love the new look,photos of the look and the bright light
Clean, comfortable, and friendly Odeon Norwich gets the basics exactly right. The cinema is spotless, and the seats are genuinely comfortable. The staff are warm and helpful, the best part of the experience, really.nnYes, the film selection is a bit limited often identical to Vue—coincidence, or cartel?, and the food leans heavily toward the usual sugary and salty suspects. But to be fair, those seem to be standard limitations across most cinemas.nnDo they still get five stars? Honestly, yes, mainly thanks to the outstanding staff, who somehow manage to make the whole thing feel like more than just another corporate chain.
I wasn’t impressed at all with the new layout! Yes the seats comfortable and roomy but the food and drink ordering is ridiculous! I’m disabled, use a crutch and am neurodiverse and I asked for help ordering popcorn n drinks but was left for over 10 minutes with no one helping me! There wasn’t enough staff and lots of people were complaining about the ordering machines/systems! It’s over complicated and bring back the easy options and offer help to those needing it. It has put me off going there again which is a shame because I love the cinema!
