I have recently visited Vue Cinema Bury to watch Scream late night show Scream was a very well balanced movie with sit tight story lines but there are some loopholes, So it’s better not to spoil your movie and enjoy the actual Scream from the actual Scream movie . Vue Cinema Bury is a decent size cinema with different sizes and capacity screens. I watched it in VueXtreme and it was an Xtreme experience with superb surround sound. Tickets can easily be booked from the kiosk machines present at the entrance side and if you fancy a drink and a bite to eat you can purchase drinks and snacks at the kiosk “Drink Eat Watch and Scream
Ease of getting tickets by self service machines. Staff seemed nice and the premises were overall clean. However the experience was spoilt by lack of staff management by staff within the theatre area when the film was on. There was a group of teenagers who were running and jumping around whilst the film was on and it took someone to get a staff member to stop this continuing. There should at least be periodic checks done whilst films are on.
First time using Vue at Bury, we were in screen 3, paid extra for the luxury seats and we weren't disappointed. Plenty of leg room, arm rests and drink holders, really comfortable, great view of the screen. Will definitely be back and will definitely upgrade to the better seats.
Went to watch 'One Piece: Red' and the film wouldn't work. They took 40 minutes to inform us that they couldn't get the film to load, couldn't even inform us when the next screening was available, and all we got was a voucher for a free film - for a standard seat and a standard screen, when we paid for a premium seat. Do not recommend this cinemas to anyone.
Cheap! Good comfy seats. Everything is digital so you order tickets on line or at the online kiosk in the cinema. This is also how you would buy the food which is pretty expensive. Park in the multi story free after 6pm
Been a few times recently and its always been clean and tidy. staff are well mannered, even if they're not that fast. We usually pt for the luxury seats which give you loads of leg room a are very comfortable even for long films Avatar whiic is over 3hrs. Driinks and food are abit pricey but thats normal for cinemas.
Clean, good seats, great ticket prices snack prices a little high, but cheap movie tickets. All round, excellent cinema, great prices. Movies are worth it on the big screen.
If you want snacks you have to order them before queuing up from a screen, which doesn't give you any options to slightly alter any items, such as no ice in drinks etc. You then have to queue to collect your order, which was only prepared once we got to the counter so I really don't see the point of the machines. They may be more beneficial when it's very busy. No toilet roll in some of the cubicles. The screen itself we were in was extremely warm and the film was occasionally distorted. Tickets are somewhat cheaper that most cinemas and if you park in The Rock car park after 6pm it's free.
Okay cinema experience, the seats never seem to be comfortable and I always find it very difficult to sit and watch a film in peace as my legs go dead from how uncomfortable they are. Whenever I order food it never seems to reflect how expensive it is, got a large pop corn I was literally given it out of a bin bag and scooped by the women’s bare hands into my box. I also ordered nachos where I payed for three cheese to go with it but was told they could only do one… I was offered salsa or jalapeños instead but as I don’t like any of them I declined. Wasn’t given a refund for the extra I payed or offered something complimentary and the staff didn’t apologise or seen bothered. The actual film is always great as the sound is always nice and loud and enjoy going here occasionally just disappointing that the staff seem so unhappy and like they don’t want to be there.
All tickets and food ordering now by auto screens that aren't easy to navigate. The staff scan you in with a phone so it's a bit slow. The seats are grotty and need a deep clean. Their idea of VIP seats are bad compared to bton. No recline no extra footroom not worth the mo ey. Oh and they charge you £2 more to pay on entry rather than online but I couldn't get online to work. Concession is as normal overpriced but that's what we expect
