the most incompetent reception team.. nobody seems to be listening? Nobody seems to being doing their jobs correctly?  The clubs bathrooms are constantly filthy, I only still go to this club JUST for one of their instructors classes.  As a member for over 7 years, I will be terminating my contract.  Don’t know what’s happened to customer service!? :/

I received a parking fine for not entering immediately, I entered on exit on the day. The Parking Company MET would not offer removal despite being a member and having entered into the system. Virgn Active were unable to support. The fine is £100.

Ok gym and classes. But the hot tub is always closed, steam room barely works, shower cubicles dirty all the time. Not worth the price you’re paying for when half of the facilities are rarely working. Canary warf & Marble Arch ones are great though

One day pass: 20£, access to full facility, gym sauna steamroom, very correct for the price tag. Only easily accessible sauna/steamroom in Notting Hill area.

UNSAFE + THIEVES EVERYWHERE  Please avoid using this club. All my items have been stolen in the female locker room and the club gave no support or assistance or a reasonable/ethical compensation.  Plus it’s the ideal environment for thieves as CCTV cameras are so blurry 1990s version that anyone can get away with anything.  Would never recommend and its in a super dodgy area!

Considering it’s a gym chain they actually have some very good yoga teachers doing their classes.

Thank you Virgin for changing the temperature of the water in the female changing room to nice and COLD.  Plus a big thank you to the Manager black lady sorry can't remember her name, for being so helpful with the upgrade of my membership. Much Appreciated.  PS. A little bench outside the sauna/steam room would really be sufficient for us, instead of having to walk round to the changing room. Hope to see one sometime soon

Experience is ruined every time due to hygiene. I’ve been to most virgins and this one is unfortunately the most unhygienic. It is really dirty in the spa area, hair isn’t cleaned from the floor and dirt, someone was putting some coffee scrub in the sauna and it was everywhere on the floor so then spread to other parts of sauna. Nothing like this in other Virgins : if management can make sure the areas are regularly checked and cleaned up would make this so much better.  Thanks!

Had a very good experience at the Nottinghill Virgin active club. I was treated alot better at this club than others. Especially by a member of staff named Tyrone who made me feel comfortable, he was always welcoming, smiling and attentive to my needs. He also help me understand more about membership, I have been a member for 4 years and for the first time I received great customer service from the team, especially front of house staff member Tyrone.  Thank you all the help and support!!!

The gym you see on your pre-purchase tour is not the gym you join. The infrastructure is well-done, but the staff don't care. The gym floor is always scattered with equipment. Weights are never in place. The PTs are sleazy. I have never seen a member of staff put equipment away. I have even had staff lob mats over me to make space for themselves. People do dead weights in the middle of the only area where someone might stretch. Kick boxing classes dominate on the only free space when its not scattered with equipment. DO NOT join this gym. The Nuffield in Sheldon Sq isn't great but it's better and it's about £20 a month cheaper.
