"Located just a short walk from Hammersmith Broadway, Hammersmith Fitness and Squash Centre offers a variety of facilities and activities to help you achieve your fitness goals. With the current social distancing restrictions, we have spaced out our equipment and it may be in different locations to what you were used to. Hand sanitation stations are also placed throughout the centre and one-way systems are in place. Our 70+ station gym has cardio, strength, and functional equipment as well as 17 weekly yoga, pilates, or spin fitness classes. The centre also benefits from three squash courts open under Squash England guidelines. Our light and modern studios are also available to hire."

Pros -Clean Gym with showers, toilets and locker. -A/C in Summer and Heating in Winter. -All weights and machines are in good conditions. -Huge Cardio area with multiple machines. -Very friendly staff. -Car Park cheap rate through Novotel, parking free at Weekends Cons -used to be very good when we had to book our spaces before the session but now it is full of school kids of 12-14 year old who take over whole gym in peak times after 4pm and you do not get chance to workout as they are everywhere to do one or two sets. Also, they are being left unmonitored so they throw weights anywhere they like or try to become Dwayne Johnson in a day, so they try to do heavy squat unmonitored where they can injure the muscle or nerve of lower body part. I myself is now considering to find another gym where I do not have to queue longer to get my hands on the equipment. -At least the underage 18 should not be allowed to go in free weights and weighted area if not monitored by adults. Weights are misplaced all over. -Some lockers are permanently locked by users' belonging and they are not being checked overnight so people leave their belongings locked even after they leave gym or for holidays. -A/C panel is broken so people control their own temperature sometime instead of that been centrally controlled.
The gym is much better now that it's been renovated. I like the fitness classes, mainly pilates. Good instructors and a friendly atmosphere.
Zumba class and step aerobics teachers excellent ! Music and routines great .
Been inside for my physio with the therapist but seems like good to me.
Gym is spacious and plenty of room to work out which is great. Clear rules and easy to follow the appointed route due to the fantastic layout of the gym. You can't use the changing room at the moment : so you can't even use those toilets in the changing room. The only toilet to use is the disabled one where is no hand dryer. You need to carry all your stuff with you during the workout as you can't use the lockers, neither those which are outside of the changing room. All over I like the gym.
Squash courts are rather run-down, some upgrades wouldn't hurt. Having said that, there is a new? lady at the reception who is incredibly cordial and professional. She is too cool for this place!!!
Great facility. Has everything you need. Decent price. Not judgy. My boyfriend took me here as this is his gym. I am not a gym goer and find these places intimidating. But actually the staff here were friendly and not over bearing. There are separate rooms for cardio, strength training etc. Wipes provided for the equipment. Yep good facility
Really big gym with well maintained facilities. Lots of equipment on lower and upper levels. The changing rooms are also very clean and we'll maintained. Only drawback is that there isn't any fitness instructor on the floor of the cardio/weights area. So you're on your own. Radio plays through the day. They even have TVs with dedicated audio channels on the cardio.machines, which is super cool. For some reason you only get super hot water in the shower. No cold water to mix. Membership is quite reasonable compared to other gyms in the area.
Its a inexpensive gym with a positive mission. I like that they have a functional area as well as an squat rack and even an deadlift area where you can drop weights. There is a sauna and squash courts too! For the cost something like 20£ it's a great deal. I however didn't really like how dirty the shower area was, there was mold on the wall and ceiling and the floor was sticky. Also a some of the equipment wasn't working or was poor quality.
THE GYM IS INSIDE THE CARPARK TO THE NOVOTEL. No public signage. Follow the tiny green arrows posted on the wall. Management is incompetent and needs to put large street level signage.
