OMG love this pool. Can’t believe it’s in the middle of Covent Garden! So random! The water temperature was balmy, the deep end was super nice and deep which I find is quite rare in london pools. It’s buried deep in a residential area but that makes it a quite unique swimming experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Showers were so clean and changing rooms so warm!! Great experience overall! Thank you.
An amazing place. The chances of a sensibly priced outside pool in the middle of Central London would appear to be nil. But here it is. Quite deep and naturally busy on a fine day so better for swimming than lazing. Just unexpected and excellent.
Decent fitness center and warm outdoor pool. However, it’s not very clean and has not been done up in over 8 years. I used to work out here in 2014 and thought it was quite good, however it definitely needs a touch up.
Carry a few 20p coins and a bag so that you don't have to open the locker multiple times. Having to do that is super inconvenient and just unacceptable at this day and age by the way. The changing rooms have a lot of space and are decently clean but the pools have loads of trash at the bottom. Not at all busy on a Sunday afteroon. The biggest redeeming quality is the hot 6-7 person sauna but I heard they're adding an additional charge for it so not sure if it's going to be worth it anymore.
Gym was windowless and sad. Not worth the £43 per month unless you want to swim outside. As a student, much better to join the YMCA near TCR station where you can get a student contract at about £22 for 9 months. The Gym in Bloomsbury is also cheaper at £28.99 per month with 50% off for the first three months. Or pure gym on TCR for £36.99 per month. This really is not worth the extra money.
The outdoor pool is very dirty black mould around the tiles and even some green stuff in the bottom and the water smells of chemicals, so very unpleasant to swim in. Also, this is not a pool for proper swim training: one of the sides is so shallow one can't make a flip turn, it was very overcrowded, even though one has to theoretically book a place, and there are no backstroke flags. The changing rooms looked dirty and the toilets stank… I left as soon as I could.
I love this pool. Yes it's seen better days and bit tatty around the edges. But there's something magical about swimming out in the open in inner London!

Great outdoor pool if you work locally or are passing through. Could do with cleaning the deep end a bit at the bottom. Convenient and good price.
Lovely outdoor pool. Sauna outside just get hot and swim. 20p lockers. Showers non cubicaled , downside. Changing area busy. Fantastic on a summer's day. Best to book in advance.
