This is the perfect pub for the family, play area for the kids, winnable prizes in the grabber and the food is amazing, as a chef I do look for places that will surprise me and for £8:50 I got an 8oz rump steak with chips and 2 corn on the cob, the steak was cooked perfectly, I have it medium rare, the chips were great, nice and crispy and the corn was as cooked to perfection. I also had a pint of John smiths which is rare for this neck off the woods. I paid £13:50 in total for a steak dinner and a pint. This is my second time at this pub as I travel up and down the uk with work. The staff where really friendly and the atmosphere was great. I recommend this pub to families and truckers who are passing buy.
We came here for a quick meal and were pleasantly surprised. Staff is very friendly. Everything on the menu is very affordable and as it was Friday we choose the hamburger meals as they were 2 for the price of 1 on Fridays. Everything was very tasty and you certainly can't complain when you get two meals for just £11,79. For other days they have great meals as well. So we'll be back to try some other dishes as well Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking and inside everything is accessible as well
The main meal I chose was the already glorious classic fish & chips, served with a side of fabulous peas & indulgent lemon! The chocolate fudge cake with extra-marvelous toppings like vanilla ice cream and served warm only rocketed up the total meal score even further. Had my evening grub around 6:45pm, wait time 12 minutes, with my 2 brothers, mum & dad, so practically my family, just so mwah-feeling such glory! You're in for the win! Vegetarian options: Self-explanatory, they offer specialised vegetarian options for both menus. Dietary restrictions: You can choose wisely your food options if you are bound with dietary restrictions. Parking: It's just in front of the building, near the Premier Inn, sporting I'd say at least 30 spots, most of which were taken when I arrived Thursday afternoon for dinner. Kid-friendliness: Obviously they offer a kids'-friendly menu, packed with the perfect choices for your child of starter, main, and desserts, to fit their moods.
As a chain restaurant, the food was cooked properly, and everything was correct. the service was efficient and quick. Overall, I can't fault them. Nice, polite and you get what you pay for. Only one criticism would be attention to detail of rubbish and debris on the floors. Kid-friendliness: Yes definitely and they were great hosts.
Stayed in the premier inn next door so naturally went to the vine to eat. Food was really really nice. Staff were so helpful and accommodating even know they were busy. The team were really helpful and pleasant to talk to. Chicken sizzler was AMAZING.Food: 5/5
26/02/23 We have just been invited back for a meal to try & rebuild the poor service we had last time. I must say they really did that. We were greeted by Lisa very polite then our server was Chloe very professional, the food was great, no waiting & everything was cleared away when we finished. I also noticed all empty tables were clean & waiting for the next customers. All in all no complaint's this time at all thank you to all the Vine team Lisa, Chloe & Taylor thank you very much. Our Last visit 12/02/23 Nice meal, but so slow service. No tables are cleared we were there for 2 hours but not one table was cleaned. The waitress walk passed dirty tables empty and not a care in the world. Waited 45 minutes for our sweet waitress and have no manners at all. I asked for a spare bowl & spoon & she just walked off. I had to go into the kitchen & and ask someone else. Disgusting service we had to make room on our table so we could have our sweets.
We visited with our children for a family meal, the staff were super friendly and service was amazing! Food was brilliant and lots of deals for us to choose from, even lots of choices on the non-gluten containing menu for me and my son which is brilliant to find somewhere!Food: 5/5
I stayed at the Premier Inn next door and ate at the Vine every night. The food was good value and the friendliness of the staff was excellent. A special shout out to Chloe P who was a credit to the business with her friendly and enthusiastic personality.Recommended dishesFish and Chips, Ice Cream Sundae, Chicken Korma, Full English Breakfast
really lovely place with delicious food esp the chips ! the people there are also really friendly! saph was really lovely to us, very engaging and sweet! will definitely come back next time we are in the area :Food: 5/5
Always lovely, meals on point all the time, great atmosphere and the staff is amazing. Have never had a bad meal here. My partner and I always remove the bun on our burgers which seems like a waste. Wish we could have a skinny version to our burgers where we just get everything else minus the bun
