Excellent room and helpful staff. However, smokers gather round the entrance all day making the lobby stink. Breakfast OK. Traditional and not modern. Partner and I don't eat meat, cheese, or eggs but there was enough to eat. But no 'alternative' - veggie sausages you can order have cheese in apparently so be aware for allergens. Wouldn't suit vegans well.

I've been a member of the gym at the hotel for 2 years now. It's fab. Facilities are great and we typically take our children swimming most weekends. I've also enjoyed food in the restaurant and also attended one of the themes nights which was brilliant!!! Highly recommend.

The Sunday carvery is probably the best value anywhere. It's nice and busy, so the meat didn't t dry out. Lots of selection for the starters, and the crumble for dessert is always good. If there was one criticism, the service can be slow for drinks. The waiting staff tend to stand around talking in certain zones, so don't really see when people require attention, but I do understand that with the number of people it can be a lot of work. Would definitely recommend. We've been loads of times since moving to the area.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are comfortable with modern, stylish and colourful forniture. The facility offers a very well equipped gym (I didn't use it but it is very popular in the area also among locals). There is a restaurant a pub and Starbucks...so several options to meet different needs. The only reason for not scoring 5 stars is due to the service at the pub. It was too slow - not acceptable if ordering an humburger. Remember that at the pub, you need to order at the counter...waiter is not coming at your table for it.

Good location within walking distance of train station. Bed comfortable but unfortunately rooms are not well sound proofed. Gym/spa/pool were good.
