Would feature in a picture dictionary for the word mediocre. Is it bad? No. Is it good? No. The food is edible, the service is tolerable. Nothing that site can control is repulsive but have no desire to return.nnThe hotel is very tired and dated but they obviously try to keep it going as best they can.nnThe hotel receptionist was a highlight. Very pleasant and friendly welcome.nnThe pub clientele were a major downside. So much loud obesity in terrible tracksuits with many screaming feral children running around.
Rooms lovely and clean nice and warm could do with a little refurbishment but overall excellent. We were checked in by a lovely friendly lady hayley who couldn't do enough for us
Had a lovely 4 day stay here. The rooms are basic, a little bit tired, but are suitable to use as a base to visit other places.nStaff were friendly, breakfast was good with lots of choice. I would stay again if I was staying in this area again. Plenty of parking. It is also a Hungry Horse, we ate here twice in the evening. Food was hot & tasty, also good service.
Great place for food and nice friendly staff all around nice environment for a great chilled evening. The rooms you can book also are nice to.
Rooms are ok, quiet. very tired decor and feels like needs a deep clean. Same with breakfast area.nFriendly staff.
