Had a meal here for the 1st time in a while. Ordered a nice looking pie with a fab description but when it arrived I was very disappointed. Creamy mash... my arse, where was the heap of fresh yummy veg, all we got was microwaved wrinkled veg and a small pile of over nuced mash. When pointed out to the bar staff I was told it's only a picture on the menu! .. as if there was no need for it to look like what was advertised. Not going back.

Sat at a table got comfy and started viewing menu, was told table reserved please move, in an attitude manor, there was a bottle with reserved written on facing the other way. We moved. Ordered our lunch. Chips were left off, baked Camembert cold and toasted bread on side with dry carrot and cue. Took it back and explained I asked for brown granary bread Not toast. And it's cold. Another 10 minutes before it came back over heated the original Camembert , and stale bread. I walked out left my lunch. Awful food and manners

Popped in for a quiet drink and to watch the football. Reasonably priced drinks and bar snacks. Have eaten here in the past a year or so ago and wasn't impressed by speed of service.

The service was terrible. Like you were intruding and ordering food was a sin. The food was burnt, how you manage to burn mac cheese to that extreme must take some doing. We will not be revisiting this place.

staff lovely. very helpful. food very nice. I gave 4 out of 5 as the veg was colder than I would have liked. will def go back again.
