Ladies on the front desk were polite and pleasant.nHowever for £180 a night I think that the TV should work. I was told that the TVs in all rooms were down, and it would take 4 hours to get them working!nThe Harvester next door was poor. The service was good, but if the food is sub standard then we are on a loser! Rib eye was crusty around the edges and as tough as a dockers boot!nNeeds a chef desperately!nMight I suggest that the Premier inn looks at its pricing policy as for the price I paid, I could have stayed in a top London Hotel and gone out for an acceptable meal. Who is pocketing the profits ? Shareholders?
Functional room with a clean bed and hot shower. Convenient location and handy with parking.nnPaintwork a little tired, especially in the bathroom.nAdditional towels requested and supplied.nnBreakfast buffet, more than adequate with good service.
The room was very clean, it's in a good location and the young lady on the desk was very polite and very helpful.
Hotel doesn't have a restaurant and the harvester next door was shut.nOnly option for a meal is a stroll up the high street.nAfter a walk up the high street and a chat with the locals I was assured the harvester is terrible anyway.
Well, having stopped in hundreds of Premier inns due to work commitments, this was the most memorable. I entered the dinning room this morning and was greeted by a bubbly lady called Genna who couldn't do enough for me and everyone in the room. All staff were fantastic and a credit their level of customer service. Should I be working in the area again, I would definitely return. Many thanks for getting my busy day off to a great start!
