Massive pub and best place of you want to keep your night cheap. Great place to start a night out. Food also as you expect for a Wetherspoons, cheap and cheerful. With the handy new Wetherspoons phone app, you don't even need to go to the bar. Just order and pay on your phone!

I only have visited the pub portion, not the hotel, but have always been happy regardless of the time that I visited. Food delivery time from ordering has been nice and quick, and service time at the bar is usually reasonable. Topped off with an interesting interior, I would happily recommend the pub.

On the whole of things the post.is a great place to go for a lunchtime pint or catching up with friends.  The bit  that lets the post down is the consistency  of the breakfast  even on a quite  morning the eggs were over done  in consistency  in the heat of the sausages.other times  its pipping hot they should reconsider their  cooks if you cant get a basic breakfast right  you need to either re train  or get better staff

Why must there be a big enquiery every time you ask for Worcester sauce ,at the last post ? they have it , they havnt got it , it over the other bar , its not , its not to be used for food , but for drink , its out the back , its not , the team leader say they haven't got any , the manager gets it , ffs they sell cocktails , although not specifically bloody mary , but sell tomato juice , and vodka!!!  , staff training and stock control spring to mind !!!!
