Excellent service & food, went above and beyond to serve multiple members of our group over a period of days. Breakfast was perfect, hot, tasty and affordable on both mornings. Selection of drinks also very good and staff are all great! Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting the island for the first time!
Awful price gouged food.nnNice enough place and staff but the food so far below the price they put up that it can't be anything but price gouging.nnThe menus look really nice and the prices indicate very good quality. Veggie burger for £17.50 and fish and chips for £17.95.nnIt came out suspiciously fast which isn't an issue on its own but my partner couldn't finish half the burger because of the taste and the fish and chips were something you'd get from a bad food van in a run down coastal town.nnWould have a drink there but food was terrible.
Can’t believe the bad reviews this place has unreal.nHad a Sunday roast for dinner 10/10, had a sea view room with a balcony & breakfast included for £104 what a find.nWill definitely be back soon
The staff were all super friendly and lovely, I had the chicken burger and chips. The chips were lovely but the chicken in the burger was soggy. Made everything else on the plate wet and when I picked it up it was dripping. Sent it back and got a refund. Definitely won’t be ordering it again.
First time at Mersea, and I was so pleased to stay at the Victory! It's in a great location, the service was excellent, friendly and welcoming.nThe food was very good and really good value.nOur room was more than enough for our needs, spacious,with a comfortable bed, and a well equipped bathroom.nWhen we have our next trip to Mersea, the Victory is where we will stay , highly recommend this place.
