Quaint little cafe with friendly staff and country-style decor set in a small vineyard. Prices are fair and tea was good! There is also a shelf with local wines and ales. Can’t comment on the food or accommodation though as we only dropped by for tea.

Stopped by for some food after a walk. Nice courtyard area with views over the vineyards. We've been a few times and never disappointed. Quick service, fair prices and a chance to try the local wine and beers. Would definitely recommend. And if you have a well-behaved dog then the courtyard area is ideal.

Basic tearoom on the vineyards grounds. The clotted cream scone was nice, as was the local ale. Friendly service.

Had my wedding here in 07/2016, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The grounds are just gorgeous, and by far superior than surrounding wedding locations. The owner and his son are exceptionally helpful, as is all the staff. This is 100% D.I.Y style venue, which is what we was looking for, as it gives you the freedom to have exactly what you imagined. The marquee is an ideal size with a onsite kitchen and bar, and some very impressive toilets! Not only that, a huge green sits behind the marquee concealed between vineyards. It really is beautiful. Only slight issue was there wasn't alot of accommodation, and that goes for Mersea in general. However there is always an option of the caravan park about 5 mins down the road. But all in all, if you put the work in and have s plan , this venue will come alive and you will have the most amazing day.
