Great Service, Fantastic Food, Great Price.

Excellent location, huge car park, and a beautiful (old) building. However, no amount of professional enthusiasm by the serving staff, of which there was plenty, can conceal that the food is simply not quite creative enough at this price point. Many dishes were priced at Restaurant levels.

Very nice, foid was excellent and service was very good. Especially as we hadn't booked and they were very busy.

Very pricey indeed for not a great deal really. The picture had been set well though with low beams and a warm cosy feeling. Quite a sizable garden and patio area right next to a pond. Very nice looking and feeling place. I reckon this is at its best at the height of summer or the dead of winter.

Given this a 3 star although recently been taken over by former owner who has always had a good reputation. In its hay day it was a fantastic pub/restaurant so think it will get there again soon. Good range of food wirh outside seating in pleasant garden. Disabled facilities in conservatory at rear if pub. The bar is not accessible as original buildings are listed. Update..... I am happy to say that the Peldon Rose seems to have returned to it former high standard of many years ago. Only experienced a lunchtime but had very good service and excellent food. Decided to change my rating to 5 stars and look forward to visiting again soon.
