Friendly staff, chips ok, but oddly, don't accept cards, which most places do these days, and I certainly don't carry cash anymore! Though their burgers are very nice and their medium cod is massive, and can't fault the food and portion sizes, which is the main reason for our visit, obviously.
I came here 2 years ago and found the staff very welcoming. Fabulous chips, great kebab and tasty fish. You can eat in; take it to the green in front of the church or a short walk to the beach to enjoy, but enjoy it you shall.nnNothing has changed in 2 years. I must go back more often. Thank you guys nnWhen you visit take cash as cards are not accepted.
When we come down to the Island from Cheshire this is where we have dinner on the first night. If we are down Friday, Saturday and go home Sunday we will grab dinner from there both evenings. Curry pancake roll is a favourite along with the battered cod huge pieces in comparison to where I live and grilled chicken kebab. The only downside is they don’t sell curry sauce.
Lovely fish & chip shop with great food. Nothing is too much trouble, they are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended with handy parking outside too.
Without a doubtnThe best chippy by far for miles and miles...cannot fault it, fish was proper tasty and crispy batter, huge portion of fresh hot tasty chips, and lush battered sausage....best ever
