Went for Southport Flower Show. Fabulous day out. Victoria Park is clean and tidy even when events aren't on. There's ample parking nearby and I saw a children's playground there too.nDogs are allowed.
Went to this year's food and drink festival. Great atmosphere, plenty of choice for food and drink. Enjoyed our time here
Ahhhh the Southport food festival!!! Well... what to say... so much great local food! Must go next year!!
Visited the park for a food and drinks festival over the weekend. There are lots of choices and all reasonably priced. And with the thousands of people that attended, there was still plenty of space to find a quiet place to sit so you could eat or just relax with a drink. Dog friendly park, too. There were plenty of bins, and it was good to see the council were on hand at the event, clearing the bins throughout the day, as well as volunteers going round collecting any blown away napkins etc. All in all was a lovely park and will definitely be going back again in the future.
We visited again for the annual Food and Drink festival again. It is a beautiful park and the public toilets are alwsys clean and well maintained. The park is often used for community events and host them well. The only thing I would like to see improved is provision for dogs, at least poop bins and a water bowl station would make it a perfect park.
