Lovely place to visit with children, amazing fairy garden created by a very talented man who deserves an award for his contribution to making children smile.

Unspoilt little park in undulating woodlands along the banks of the Mersey. Popular for walks, snacks in the cafe and children's play area. As recent development is a fairy woodland where the fairies have made a home in old tree trunks with all sorts of sculptures made from driftwood.

Proper old Victorian park. Well kept grounds. Beautiful cafe. Nice play area and rose garden. Band stand for those who wish to relax while listening to music .

There's always something going on, the children love the fairies and the March hares will appear next. Always nice to have a coffee from the cafe and watch the world go by or listen to the music if there is an open mike session at the bandstand.
