My favourite canalside cafe in Birmingham. My trip to Birmingham always has to include a visit here and enjoy the wiew to the passing and moored boats.
This is a very cosy little bar with an open fire, it's location is within walking distance to Broad St and the Mailbox, decent beer too. Unfortunately let down massively by the toilets that resembled something from a scene in the film Trainspotting. Apart from that we enjoyed our visit here.
Amazing place with amazing mood - Fireplace is always on, there's no better place to be on a winter night. Especially with a glass of mulled cider!
Proper English pub.
Friendly and welcoming, great to sit by the water on a hot night.
Been here several times for one or another tasty beer. Mostly late, never recognized they would serve food as well. Toilets are really a point to heavily improve, thus 3 stars only.
Amazing little pub. Has 3 tinny rooms spread along a large bar. Great selection of real ale, real cider, spirits and wines all at a great price
