We are there now very nice staff rooms are mint with your own bathroom you have tea and coffee in your room and morning breakfast for like £31 you can't go wrong plz come for your self had a mint time you get for what you pay for :)

Really good place to stay, friendly staff and owners, breakfast was so nice and on time. Really helpful with that to do if first time visiting. Going through a renovation and cannot wait to see the final result. Always clean and tidy, room was never cold and house keeping top notch. Will recommend and stay again in the future.

Very friendly and helpful and understanding too. Recommend this hotel very highly. I haven't tried the food yet but it smells amazing.

For those reading older reviews - the hotel has gotten a new owner (just a couple days ago at time of writing) and is in the process of redoing everything such as painting, bathroom, decoration etc so take the older reviews with a hint of salt. The hotel is a lot better than what the other reviews make it out to be. If all you need is a bed and a bathroom for a night or two, then this is perfectly fine. Of course it isn't the tidiest, isn't the best looking nor most comfortable bed, no A/C and ok heating, but you're not paying for all of that. There's plenty of hotels nearby that offer that, but are priced a lot more accordingly. This has a bed, a shared bathroom (for single room. No ensuite), and a radiator so it's warm enough at night. My minor complaints are that it isn't in the best of conditions; creaky floorboards, some times they flex when you stand of them, shared bathroom with a tiny shower and isn't really that great, it isn't messy or dirty but it's not spotless, there's no cleaner, there's no blackout curtains so they leak in a lot of light, and the walls are paper thin (I can hear people talking from across the hallway, and that guy playing CS GO upstairs with his speakers on talking down the mic whilst his Russian team mates say "rush b"). The TV may as well not be there and it must be like 18" (it's tiny). I definitely wouldn't stay here for a holiday nor for more than two nights, but this place is sufficient for a place to crash for a night or two.
