The Whittington & Cat is a contemporary Lounge Bar situated in the heart of Hull adjacent to the Marina and close by to the Hull Arena and shopping areas.

Story

The Whittington & Cat Food and Lounge Bar is a family run business with a storied history in Hull. We pride ourselves on offering the best possible customer experience in Hull. A unique selection of continental drinks and premium wines and spirits is offered to our customers in a modern, stylish, refurbished, victorian pub along with home cooked food and all the entertainment BT Sports has to offer.

The bar is an independent business to the accommodation but an excellent working relationship ensures that guests staying at the Whittington & Cat are welcomed and taken care of by our friendly bar staff enabling the most enjoyable stay possible.

The Whittington & Cat is an ideal venue for all events including (but not limited to) wedding parties, birthday parties and anniversaries. The Bar can be booked out on request and has a generous capacity.

Went to 'Whittington and Cat' last minute choice, we were undisided where to go for Sunday dinner. Really glad we did bar staff was really polite and the waitresses couldn't do enough for us. We all had a Sunday roast (small) there were beef, pork, lamb as a choice, as well as a menu, its a good job we  did get small cos for me there was ample. I did see a standard dinners  been placed on the next table and they were for big eaters (massive). Cause we ended up with a pudding, good choices to choose from.
Drinks and food are reasonably priced.
We'll defiantly be entering that on our 'to do' list, 
Whitington and Cat, Kingston upon Hull, East Riding Of Yorkshire.

Great bar to sit and relax after a day working on the ship. The bar staff clearly enjoy their job and make you feel very comfortable. Good priced drinks and cheap portion of chips!! 10/10.

It looks a bit rough from the outside but inside it is light airy and very friendly staff. The food was basic pub grub but tasty. We stayed overnight and our room was lovely. Comfortable, large and elegant.  The bathroom was well stocked as was the bedroom.  Tea & coffee, biscuits, sweets & bottles of water. The TV was a good size and  folded into a bracket on the wall. The only thing that let it down was it's location and they can't do anything about that.

Great Sunday lunch. Good price, nice food and pleasant service. Would come back
