City centre location, there are two car parks, one directly attached to the hotel and one around the corner. Parking was £7.70 per night.nRoom was the standard premier inn room which was great as they always are, bathroom could have been abit cleaner but apart from that perfect.nWe ate in the restaurant for dinner, smallish portions when ordering the 2 course meal.nBreakfast was great .
Rubbish hotel. Good nights sleep guaranteed is just pure nonsense these days. Broken AC in rooms on 11th floor. I ended up using the sofa bed with the tiny windows open to try stay cool. Breakfast cheap and buffet style. Not the usual order it yourself. The area its in isnt pleasant to walk round after dark.nnUpdate: called their complaints division as instructed. Couldn't have been less useful. Woman on the phone told me next time I need to search for some sort of update hidden somewhere on the website to check if air conditioning is under maintenance. In spite of this the main hotel page still advertises as with AC. Shameful hotel, shameless customer service.
Great location for exploring the city centre, and really close to The Deep.nn2 car parks, one in the building, one by the road. Choose the one in the building, much closer for hauling luggage.nnUnfortunately our room hadn't been cleaned and the new room we were allocated needed the 3rd bed making, however the staff member that assisted us was very helpful and apologetic.nnWe paid slightly more for a room with a view, definitely worth it as it overlooks the river and the moving bridges!
Used to stay in this hotel all the time when on business. Haven’t been for a while, imagine my surprise when I saw they now have pay for car parking, £7 for 24 hours, ridiculousnnI was met at reception by Grant a larger than life fantastic guy who was soooo welcoming I had a bit of an incident with my car and he helped me sort things out as best he could. Amazing service from Grant who went over and above the call of duty. Such a nice guy and so helpful, premier in take note
Where do I begin!nnArrived at the hotel for work purposes and was appalled by the service and lack of care. The lady on the reception seemed to have no interest in helping me at all and didn't seem to know what she was doing. Booked in for a meal at 6:30, arrived down at 6:20 and was told I would have someone come over to me. 6:45 rolls around, multiple staff member have walked past me and I'm still waiting for my order to be taken, I ended up going to the bar and ordering.nnI ordered the Big Stack Burger for my meal and it was shocking. Not only did it take a further 25 minutes for food to come out, but the burger was raw! Like it had been threatened with the pan and not even cooked for a minute each side. The lady took it away and I ordered a pizza. By this time it's 7:25 almost, 8pm rolls around and I finally get my pizza.nnThe staff seemed too busy chatting behind the bar and disappeared into the back so everyone was waiting a stupid amount of time because even being seen by a member of staff. There was only 2 ladies who I didn't get the names of that actually knew how to do their job.nnThe heating in my room didn't work at all it looked as if someone had broken the actual panel on the wall and no buttons worked at all. Apart from that small detail, the rest of the room was clean, and smelt lovely.nnThe breakfast isn't anything impressive either, the beans were cold, the eggs were overcooked to the point the yolk had a layer that was like chewing through rubber and the sausages were just about cooked. The pastries and bread were probably the best part about the breakfast.nnThe car park to the right of the building underneath the bypass is awful to get into, be prepared to no doubt scuff your rims or have to do a 6 point turn.nnThe room I was put in overlooked bypass so it was rather noisy at night when everyone was leaving to go home and get places.nnOverall I wouldn't stay there unless there was no other place to go and I certainly wouldn't eat the food again.
