I used this venue to run a small workshop/seminar. The room had all of the facilities needed. The staff were friendly, the food was average. It shares it's carpark with the local shopping centre so it's easy to find. Reception is on the 1st floor but there is a good lift system

Came here for a company meeting. Free drinks were available to us from the coffee machine - tea, coffee, hit chocolate - what more could you want? Meeting room was clean though we could not quite get the air con to behave properly. Was either roasting or baltic.

I stayed at this hotel when I was visiting the University and did not have a good nights sleep at all. The fire alarm went off at 2am and we had to walk down 7 flights of stairs where we waited in the lobby for 5 minutes only to go back. The staff were very unorganised at the fire alarm and didn't really know what to do. I hope this has improved. However, this is my only complaint about the hotel. There were lots of breakfast options and the rooms were clean. If you have a room on a higher floor you get quite a view. The location is also quite good, being right next to the train and bus station, and a huge shopping centre.
