Can’t understand how it’s walk in centre or emergency centre as they can’t even provide basic first aid . My husband hand was bleeding bcoz of knife cut and our GP guide us to visit here . Walk 20 minute only to get advised to go to reading as they don’t provide this service.Receptionist just gave me address of other hospital , didn’t show any care or empathy towards my husband’s bleeding hand. Totally disappointed, they charge thousands for IHS and provide nothing . If you need care and support don’t visit here please.
0 stars I was referred to go to this hospital immediately for health problems and they care more about if I’m registered with them. I’m dying here no care lovely
Shouldn’t even be giving one star the lady rang me up for nail surgery discussion, she was so cocky and rude , no manners straight up just blunt as the nhs learn to speak properly disgusting behaviour, first thing in the morning and that’s what you hear is shocking sort it out

On the evening of January 31, 2025, at 5:50 PM, I visited Upton Court Emergency Hospital in Slough due to severe stomach pain and breathing difficulties. The receptionist informed me that for an appointment at Upton, I needed to call 111, but since it was already 6:05 PM, she advised me to go directly to Wexham Hospital. With only 10 minutes left, I went to the visitor lobby to make the call and check. As I dialled, a woman with a phone approached me and, in a dismissive and racially insensitive tone, told me it was too early to call. She also insisted that I could not stand there, rudely instructing me to go home and call instead, stating that they needed the space for other patients.nnHer lack of empathy and unwillingness to understand my distress left me deeply disheartened. I had no choice but to leave, feeling helpless. This experience reflects the reality of how the NHS operates in the UK. As an international student who pays for NHS services, I found the treatment disappointing and inhumane. I would advise others not to visit without an appointment, as this is the protocol in the UK—even in an emergency.
