Avoid this centre if you care about your health!!! Ignorance and lack of care for patients! My wife was in huge pain, with appointment made for 9a.m, waiting for 1 hour when she was the only patient in the waiting room. The lady doctor said she had to make some phone calls and laughing about. During consultation GP had fun with other colleagues who entered in the room while my wife was laid on the bed. Shame!
I called the gp to book an appointment for my dad and a really rude Receptionist called ‘iman’ picked up the phone. I accidentally gave the wrong year for his date of birth first time and the same second I said the right one and she told me that will hang up the phone because I don’t have the patients date of birth when I did but I accidentally said the wrong one because the appointment was not for me and I got confused. I would have given 0 stars if there was an option for the service I received.
Took my 4year old son on Sunday morning with ear infection. The receptionist very pleasant - took my details asked to sit down. We were seen within 35 min even though the message on the screen said 1h20min waiting time. The doctor was the most caring and sympathetic I have seen in a very very long time. She was brilliant with my son. Confirmed what I was suspecting, gave us prescription for antibiotic and we were out . I was also there myself few months ago with allergy reaction and they were all caring. Do not be put off by the negative comments. if you are unwell and it is urgent they will see you. Thank you so much for today's help.
Wow...only had 1 other visit here before which was "OK"... but this visit for my daughter was atrocious. Our doctor told her to visit the Walk In centre if need be when the surgery was closed. She needed to...waited 2 hours to be told.. "I don't know why you came here on a Bank Holiday weekend, we can't do anything for you" Suggested that her long term boyfriend had cheated on her and to get checked.."because you never know" As you can imagine not only did she get told it was a waste of time going and that her boyfriend may have been cheating but she go no resolution to the issue she went there for...disgusting service...terrible attitude... A public service paid for by us all with no duty of care.
Rude, unhelpful and unsympathetic reception staff. Can't be bothered to do their work. Tried to get an appointment with the nurse which I have previously been able to do but was told I couldn't by reception. Had to wait 4 - 5 hours for a simple dressing change. Very poor and rude service.
Worst place I've ever been, after waiting for 1.hour I was seen by a nurse who didn't know anything and was searching in Google, not even a doctor saw me. Ridiculous, will never visit this place again and I do recommend everyone to go somewhere else.
Had to wait up to a hour each time. But it was the doctors were great. Very good service
I had amazing service at this walk in centre. My issue wasn't quite A&E level but was getting worse and needed attention quicker than I could have got into the doctors. I only waited about 10 minutes to be seen, luckily it was a quiet part of the day, and I was back out in my car 10 mins after that with antibiotics. They even dispensed the antibiotics I needed which I didn't expect. Absolutely brilliant. Also, polite, friendly and cheerful. Very grateful to have a service like this local to me. Thank you Slough Team.
Just been to the walk in centre. The receptionist was really rude. They are pointless plus the reception has really bad customer service. It’s appealing!!! She told me to go to the hospital for an injection when it could be done there as my doctors have advised and she told me that I would have to wait for an hour which was fine with me but she said I can’t be seen as I have to go to Wexham Park Hospital absolutely unprofessional. Now I’m at Wexham and the waiting time is 2,5h absolutely fuming
No wonder ppl hate this place. The receptionists have quite a reputation and yes, its TRUE. The Receptionists are so rude! I recommend people to see other centres as nobody deserves such worst treatment
