I’ve been coming to this post office for years, and normally the staff are great, but today had a bad experience with a member of staff. He told me that my two parcels could not be accepted and for me to try elsewhere. When I showed him the email that said the parcel was to be returned at this post office’s address, he told me to wait, served other customers, eventually returned to me had another go at scanning my parcels in, which worked, and then surlily told me to put the parcel on the scales and then held his hand out for me to pass it over. Very rude and lazy and not like the usual staff at all! Unsatisfactory behaviour and in need of training!
Extremely rude older lady of staff at the post office counter
Tried to put monies into my account, they had no idea of how to do this transaction. Couldn't find my bank! After a while they said to come back today Sunday after 2 pm, as there should be a lady to do the transaction. Trying to phone to make sure it is open, no one answering the phone!! Where is the Sub Postmaster no idea. They are a rubbish Post office. I'll be using the Bache from now on.
Staff are rude and unhelpful. Unwilling to take £50 notes despite it being legal tender. Shut services when they feel like it. Don't respond to formal complaints made. Avoid at all costs. For better postal services use Bache Post Office.
Rude staff, tried to overcharge me for a parcel that fits through the letterbox boxes are made especially for this serviceThen said she tried it and it didn't fit which she clearly never as I was stood right infront of her, so she literally just lied to my face, she then tried it and it evidently fit through. I don't know how they expect small businesses to run if they try to overcharge them constantly. I definitely won't be using this branch again.
I took a parcel to this post office. Sadly my mum died in February & i found a company online who makes keepsakes by glass blowing a few ashes into the keepsake. The staff at the counter were very insensitive when i told them what was inside the parcel. The woman who served me wasnt going to accept the parcel until she read her leaflet which stated human remains can be posted. Her colleague mumbled something to do with imagining legs & arms in the package I was too shocked to speak but went home & complained to customer services . As it was my word against theirs nothing was done . I feel i received a very poor response & service. Never going in there again. I used to work in retail & if i had have dealt with a customer in this way i would have been sacked. The complaint response states they cannot make the staff apologise. I am made to feel i have made up the story.
My husband and myself needed a EU driving licence. Counter lady helpful with processing this. Hower, on producing my old style paper driving licence, counter lady insisted that such a driving licence is illegal and a penalty of 1'000 pounds may be levied. However on gov.co.website it clearly states that "providing none of the details on a driver's paper licence have changed such as name or address my case they can continue to be used until licence expires", usually at age of 70. I was disappointed being given misinformation on such an important issue.
I like the staff who are generally very nice and better than other offices, they never give you rubbish like 'that's too many parcels' which I've had from other outlets. I think some of the other reviewers here have mental problems
Poor customer service, women member of staff very rude. Wouldn’t bother going there to busy on her phone. Very unprofessional.
There’s a faint whiff of Deliverance about this establishment, where you wouldn’t be surprised to hear quiet knocking coming from a secret underground room. The nails on the faraway looking banjo strummer behind the counter, also churn the stomach and evoke memories of an unsettling RE teacher.
