Purtroppo un pessimo servizio all'utente finale da parte di coloro che dovrebbero, appunto, essere servitori del cittadino. Dopo avere inutilmente provato in tutte le maniere di pagare una multa per sosta vietata, elevatami a Chester il 13.8 - via web via telefono alla posta - alla fine del viaggio ho volutamente deviato su Chester, nonostante dovessi recarmi a Manchester, per rivolgermi al comando di Polizia e pagare entro i 14gg, ed ottenere la riduzione da 70£ a 35£. Al comando di cui sopra la sig.ra addetta al pubblico ha subito riferito che non era di loro competenza, trattandosi di una sanzione elevata dal council, ed invitandomi a rivolgermi li. Ho tentato di spiegare che avevo provato in tutti i modi di pagare non riuscendoci, e che dovevo partire la mattina successiva molto presto da Manchester. Dopo avere preso il verbale ed essere sparita per 2 minuti, è riapparsa solamente con lo stesso verbale ed un altro foglio con annotato un numero a cui rivolgersi. Le ho chiesto di telefonare per mio conto subito, agevolandomi nell'aspetto della conversazione in inglese, oltretutto per una vicenda insolita, ma si è rifiutata di farlo. Da italiano posso solo rimarcare che, in Italia, una vicenda simile avrebbe trovato maggiore disponibilità da parte degli addetti di polizia, ed il cittadino straniero avrebbe risolto subito. Inoltre non si riesce a comprendere il motivo per cui non sia possibile pagare una multa presso l'ufficio postale. Il council di Chester accetta solo pagamenti web, telefonici, o diretti con cheque bancario. Critichiamo il ns paese ma sovente all'estero funziona tutto molto peggio...
