Had a Civil Partnership here the day before the whole country went into the first Covid lockdown… should have been as sign, worst thing I ever did ... However can't blame this place for my bad decisions. The staff were very friendly and helpful… however the place is not picturesque, it's situated amongst Chesters filthy back streets… however if your not looking for a fairytale day , but rather a quick cheap legal service because you've knocked some girl up then this could be the place for you
This review is way overdue. As a photographer, I shot my niece's wedding here back in March this year at The Old Palace and I've got to give a BIG shout out to the registrars who conducted the wedding... They're the best I've ever encountered and I've been shooting weddings for over 10 years. Thank you ladies for making my niece's wedding a great experience from a photographer's view point.
Ordered a copy of my birth certificate on Thursday and received it on Saturday. Brilliant service!
Although the building that houses the Register Office is far from pretty, the ceremony room is lovely and very intimate. We were blown away by how lovely the two ladies who conducted our ceremony were - it was far more full of feeling and sentiment than we were expecting we were fearful it might be a little too officious. Everyone commented on how fabulous the ladies were and they did a tremendous job of settling both of our nerves when we arrived too. Can't recommend the Register Office enough - it's the perfect setting for those waiting small, intimate weddings without the fuss. Perfect from start to finish, thank you.
Lovely welcoming staff .ceromony was friendly and relaxed enjoyable experience.
Allow atleast 20 mins extra travelling time due to the ongoing roadworks. Parking near here is a nightmare.
