We were going to place a plague in the Garden of Rememberance for our Mum. Having looked into it further it does not seem to be looked after. All the rememberance plagues all together on a wall, did not like the set up. Not the nicest crem to be able to visit according to my family. When dealing with the crem, on checking on an update, what I found to be most apparent was the non caring attitude of some, not all, of the staff I spoke to. Dec 23
Not good seeing smoke belching from the chimney & not for the first time! It must be most distressing for loved ones.
Excellent place for sending off a loved one. Have been there many times, unfortunately. Lots of parking with easy access, including wheelchair users and has lovely grounds, should you choose to spread anyone's ashes there. Top notch, I can't fault the place at all
I had the pleasure of dealing with these people over a very old grave, and I transfered the ownership to myself. The process was long and hard, but I was guided through it each step of the way. I advise you to email the team and get their flow chart, it help clear things up for you when going through the process.
Had a family member having gone through a horrendous time with losing their baby, she was told she would be contacted to be there for the cremation and spreading of the ashes, no contact was given and was told of all things 'we were dead busy' the cremation went ahead without family there, utterly appalling. She has asked to be kept anonymous in all this but the crematorium should be ashamed.
Visited today Couldn't use the bins as it was Armed forces ddy. Found a lovely chap emptying bins and collecting rubbish. He was more than happy to help and cheery too. Well done
It’s a disgrace on graveside, the excuse is that it’s no mow May apparently but it’s always a mess. It’s not a pleasant place to visit loved ones when every time it has to be cleaned up. Get a grip and look after the grounds properly
Disappointed to arrive at my mums grave today. Stone has been moved and damaged left to one side. Very annoyed to see graves left with such disregard
Calm and peaceful. Surrounding gardens are well kept and maintained. Staff were respectful and kind. The chapel was light and airy with lots of well spaced seating.
My experience at the crematorium when I recently visited for the funeral of my mum I found the access into the chapel very good the only thing was there were no windows to open and no air conditioning or fans and it was a very hot day
