UR is a member-focused gym where all the trainers know you personally and what you’re trying to achieve. The staff genuinely want you to succeed and make sure you’re always on track. All the members monitor and celebrate each other’s milestones and it is like a big family. The array of equipment is extensive and the classes are frequent and varied. Because the class sizes are kept small, everyone gets individual attention and so progress is more rapid and injury prevented. The camaraderie is excellent and a shared message group means members can keep in touch away from the gym too. I genuinely can’t believe how much time I now spend at the gym, other gyms are uninspiring and I couldn’t wait to leave. UR is unique.

I have been a member since November 2016. I never thought I would turn down a night out because it means missing Boxing or Gym Circuits but I do, regularly. Trainers are brilliant. They adapt what they do to take account of all our little (and not so little) foibles--but we are all pushed out of our comfort zones. That doesn't happen in the larger gyms. Everyone knows everyone else and everyone is super encouraging. All in all it is a fantastic place to get fit; make friends and have fun!!

I have been a member of Unique Results for 3 years now, attending kettlebell and boxing classes and PT sessions every week - something I never thought I'd say, having signed up and left so many other uninspiring/impersonal gyms in the past. Unique results is a completely different atmosphere - there is no showboating, no judgment, no arrogance. It is a bunch of lovely trainers who absolutely have your best interests at heart; they know every single members name, know what you are trying to achieve, know what you are struggling with and work with you to get the best results for you. The members are the same - everyone talks to each other, cheers each other on, shares stories. I can honestly say I consider the trainers and other members as friends who I look forward to catching up with every week; although I push myself and have seen great results, it never feels like hard work going to UR because I enjoy it so much.

I was introduced to the gym by a good friend in 2014. I'm not the typical gym goer preferring more sedentary activities like eating cheeseburgers and watching movies. After 3 years I'm still no fan of exercise, I do however enjoy going to Unique Results and attend classes regularly. The Unique Results community, which is slightly older than I expected, is warm and welcoming with plenty of healthy banter and hard work. Combined with the range of activities and spport the gym enables anyone to reach their healthy lifestyle goals. The expertise on hand is can be very inspiring and the diversity of classes prevent you from ever having to just do cardio on a treadmill. Their use of the mindbody app allows easy booking of classes although things like Cali Club (calisthenics), kettlebells, and boxing fitness fill up very quickly. There are a minor flaws like some the music choices but overall it's definitely worth its five stars.
