We purchased our beautiful 1966 VW split screen camper from Sam 6 years ago. We would have no hesitation in recommending Sam and UK Sports Cars to others, the service we received was great and nothing was too much trouble. Helping us to design and then convert our vehicle from a micro bus to an amazing camper van who gets admiring glances wherever we go.
It's impossible to put into words how much we love this bus. It's a dream come true. Been on my bucket list for ages and it delivers on every level. The attention to detail during the planning and build was second to none at every stage. The bus has been faultless. It looks so good. It's always draws remarks, always good. here's a couple This bus would be at home in any museum XXCK me mate, I just had an orgasm walking past your bus. She drives like a dream, looks better than any other vehicle on the road at the moment. We even overtook a new Porsche on the motorway in France yesterday. Hahahaha. The 1776 engine full rebuild with twin Kadron carbs and Red 9 design steering suspension and brakes really sort out going, stopping and steering. And the quality of the craftsmanship on the interior is truly top class. Second to none. Don't look elsewhere. If you want a top class old bus, call UK Sports cars . You won't regret it.
An easy pleasant transaction. Buying a car unseen can often be a great source of trouble. Not for me it wasn't! I bought a classic 1960's Lotus 7 from UK Sports Cars. Before my purchase, they sent me many, many clear pictures & were helpful & friendly throughout, answering all my questions promptly & accurately. When my purchase arrived, it was even better than expected. I was thrilled. I am happy to recommend Paul & his team at UK Sports cars most highly.

I purchased my 72 Lotus Europa from Paul nearly 3 months ago. It was a wonderful experience looking at the car as well as the test drive. Paul is very knowledgeable regarding old Lotuses a wealth of information. The car has just been back for a spanner check as it was a new restoration. Paul also carried out a couple of minor adjustments. He had the car collected and delivered back. I must say I have had fantastic service and would highly recommend if you in in the market for a classic car. 5star service

I now own 2 vehicles purchased from Paul & Sam, a ’72 VW Bay Window Camper and an ’88 Lotus Esprit Turbo. Both are fantastic cars and having viewed many examples of each model prior to purchase, their stock represented those in the best condition available. There is a wealth of knowledge with these guys that comes from years of experience and specialising in a few select marques. So far we’ve taken the VW bus to Norfolk, the Alsace, the Black Forest, the Dordogne twice and are planning a trip for next year to either the Verdon Gorge or the French/Swiss Alps. The Esprit will certainly be going abroad next year as well with the idea of hopefully driving the Route Napoleon. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend UK Sports Cars to any car enthusiast, particularly if you’re after a classic VW camper or Lotus.
Found my first Lotus at UK Sportscars a few months ago. From initial conversations with Paul, I made the trip to Kent and made a purchase on an Elise - that needed some attention to a few areas which was agreed with Paul. The work was carried out before my collection day as the car had been in storage for 10 years before finding its way to UK Sportscars. Unfortunately the car showed some faults after purchase and collection, but rest assured, Paul and his team collected the car and rectified the faults without any quibble. They always reassured me that the car would be put right and kept me informed. The car was delivered back to me. I also took the car for a new MOT for absolute peace of mind, also with a thorough independent inspection. The car was found to have a defective bush on a rear toe link arm, which I had repaired by the specialist the car was with. Paul subsequently reimbursed me for the parts and labour involved with the fault, even though the work was completed elsewhere. I now have this little Lotus Elise, brought back to life thanks to Paul who sold it to me and looked after me and the car with its 'teething' problems as it came out of 10 years storage. Paul has been an absolute Gentleman and man of his word and can recommend UK Sportscars as honest and decent, offering complete peace of mind. Thank you Paul and your team.
