Hired a tail-lift Luton and a short wheel base Transporter on two separate occasions. The Exeter U-Drive team were polite, courteous, the vehicles were clean and good value. I would definitely use this firm again. They're ideally located if you live the East side of Exeter as it saves a congested trip to Marsh Barton, where other hire firms are based.

Used U drive in Exeter 3 times now and everytime have had a fantastic experience. Massively helpful staff who always have a smile on their faces, even on a cold December day! Thanks again to the team for another painless vehicle hire!!

I used the Exeter Sowton branch on Saturday 02/09/17. There was one chap manning the front desk and also showing people around their vehicles. Normally my experience of hiring vehicles is a long process especially when there were others waiting, but everyone was dealt with professionally and quickly, and at all times he kept us informed so the waiting didn't feel too bad. The vehicle was in great order, and good value. On returning the van later that day, I notice the same chap sweeping out the entire forecourt, ensuring the place looked as presentable as possible. With a cheerful greeting, he got on with processing the return with equal professionalism. I suppose on the surface of it, nothing but the level of service what I expect from any company took place that day, but to me a great impression was made down to the efforts of that one guy. I wish I asked his name but as he was the only one holding the fort, I hope you can investigate and pass on my thanks.
