Despite booking rental over the phone, and advising what I did and did not want, on two occasions the employee I booked the car was told they had to have insurance, which they paid for themselves. This has only recently come to light, as did a letter received saying they were taking even more money, without explaining why, or invoicing for it. We regularly use hire cars, however this is the final time we use Europcar. We have been made to feel like liars, the service is terrible and they refuse to accept responsibility. If I could give no stars I would!

Really bad experience I ordered a car 10 days earlier only to be left high an dry with no car. Thanks again I was frozen by the time my car had it's mot. An absolute shambles.......

Martin the manager was really helpful and solved problems we had encountered. So polite and friendly and understanding. Will definitely return for future business. Hire prices also very competitive and nice vehicles.

Terrible customer service and was charged an extra £200 for them to fuel up 2 litres in the van when I fuelled up to top 1 mile away from the site. Next time I’ll rather pay extra money to have better customer service and a van that actually works properly.

Europcar have taken money from my account months after the rental had finished without issuing an invoice. All that was received was a letter detailing the amount owed for “fuel charges”. No one picked up my calls to the number on this letter so had to phone Europcar central customer services to complain. Very poor.
