Due to moving home/ pandemic I have not managed to register/ see a dentist for almost 5years. Spoke to the receptionist at Tyne view who were extremely helpful and registered me and my son. Had to wait a little while for an appointment due to the back log which was fine. After reading some reviews on here was really apprehensive in going to the appointment, but went today and service was great. It was my son's first check up and from the minute I walked through the door the staff were amazing towards my son, he was really relaxed an happy. I found all members of staff to be very polite and helpful. I explained to the dentist I had not been to see anyone in such a long time and since i had suffered from losing part of a tooth. There was no patronising or talking down like other comments are suggesting the dentist was lovely checked my teeth, explaind my options and provided reccomendations, there was no pressure at all. Can not fault the service, I am nervous about visiting dentists due to past experiences, but will be no hesitation going back to this practice.
Fantastic dentist. Highly recommend had been recommended off my sister as I had been to a lot of other dentists and couldn't do the right treatment. No mater what you want these will do it .and if your not happy with your treatment. You can go back until you are .aim to please you .thank you so much am very happy
Terrible from start to finish. Turned up to my first appointment at this practice to be told they were too busy! A phonecall would have been nice. 2nd appointment had a check up and was told I needed to pay 45 pounds to see a hygeinist first before she could carry out dental work on top of the cost of my check up. Was publicly embarrassed in the waiting area by the rude dental nurse then when I turned up for the hygeinist appointment I was told I had the wrong day. Not the case as I had the card I was given with my appointment on by the dental nurse. I will not be returning. Got a refund for the hygeinist appointment. No patient care whatsoever! Will be reporting this practice to NHS as clinically necessary treatments should not be charged for privately for nhs patients. Especially those with a HC3 Certificate.. I have now paid for a check up which is totally useless as I will have to pay for another when I register elsewhere.
Seen very quick with my children, service brilliant and done a fantastic job. Can't believe how fast we were seen given the dentist shortage. Thanks again!
I have been going to this practice for over 25 years and I could not recommend it enough. The dentists they employ are knowledgeable and patient. They also offer a dental hygienist service which I use on a 6 month cycle because it makes a good impact. Lastly, the appointment reminders are a nice little touch that allows you to plan your week.
Stay away from this practice if you want to receive a quality service. I am glad I changed my mind after their incompetence on arranging an appointment for my needs. No responses to my emails, no politeness.
A good and professional dental practice, Mrs Vasudev is excellent at what she does!
I hvnt been since chopra had the dentist due to pandemic, only ever had one problem with one of the dentist trying to pull a tooth out before needles took affect, but have been bk since then, don't know if I'm still registered here since the new owner took over
Couldn't rate this zero PLEASE STAY AWAY ME AND MY FAMILY HAVE ALL HAD BAD EXPERIENCES. THEY TREAT YOU LIKE CATTLE IN AND OUT, ONLY INTERESTED IN MONEY THEY HAVE DENTAL NURSES WASTING THERE TIME ON RECEPTION BECAUSE THERE TOO TIGHT TO HIRE ONE PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN THERE.
Absolute disgrace of a dental practice. This is the 2nd time I have been and left in tears & still in pain after being patronised and belittled about my dental health. I debated even coming back after the 1st time I got told my teeth were “disgusting”, whilst in the chair?! I thought dentists were there to help, treat, give guidance and advice regarding dental issues not abuse & attitude?! Left my emergency appointment today after being in the chair for under 2 minutes saying it didn’t matter, that I’d rather put up with the pain after being spoken down to again without even asking the problem in hand never mind looking inside my mouth. Started quizzing me as to “why I’d been skipping dentists to dentist” been to 1 other practice as an emergency appointments as TyneView had none available when needed & “Why my dental health was so bad?” with a nasty attitude even though as I said she hadn’t even looked in my mouth?! I left the room the dental assistant did come out and try calm me down and get me back in the chair to which straight behind her was the dentist calling in the next patient already which really showed how much care and compassion she had/has. More interested in lining her pockets!!
